It was time to renew the 1% per month subscription, but there is no way to contact these people. Is my money gone?

Are my payments suspended or only postponed? No way of knowing and no one there is reaching out to me.

He never keeps his promises. He treats people like crap.

He has his staff make fake accounts on google to give good reviews. He has no respect and he doesnt do business with banks inside the United States.

He takes his investments across seas because he doesnt trust Banks in USA and probably because these banks are smart and wont give him the loans he needs to create the SBLC. Stay away from him and take your investments elsewhere.

JP Maroney and Harbor City Capital Digital Arbitrage programs

I invested in several of JP Maroney's digital arbitrage programs, which he assured me in writing were guaranteed, double-digit returns, secured by the value of the leads generated. The investments were in the form of loan agreements which were never paid back, despite his promises for months on end that they would be repaid or brought current "next week," "at the end of the month," "with bonus interest for the delay," etc.

I finally filed a lawsuit, and was awarded default judgment of nearly a half a million dollars. He did not even bother to appear in the lawsuit. When my lawyer tried to garnish the bank account, it had $239.00 left.

I believe Maroney misused my investment funds and completely misrepresented both the safety and the potential returns. I want to warn others against doing business with him.

Evelyn, I would greatly appreciate it if you would reach out to me. I am considering bringing a lawsuit as well but per your submission, a futile attempt.

I lost a substantial amount as well.

I will check this post to see if you are willing to share with me. Thank you.

I too have been conned by this less than a human being. DON'T DO IT.

RUN!!!! His partner in crime is Nick with DNA Fortune.

Guest

Yep, just the type of reviews I thought I'd find upon looking into this con scheme.

"Investing" is not the correct word, it's "donating" to a charitable cause.

Caveat Emptor. True in 49AD, true now. When someone offers you “18 percent guaranteed returns” in a market where investment quality corporate bonds are paying under 3%, you should run for the hills!

Sounds like a Pyramid scheme

Calling this a Alternative Investment should make it reviewable by the S.E.C.. If its to good to be true it usually is. People lost all kinds of money in 2007 to 2009 in Alternative investments.

If this did what JPBaloney claims it does hedgefunds would be giving him all the money he can handle and you would never hear about it.

Have been looking at them for some time. Definitely too good to be true.

Notice that they never tell you exactly how they make money in their investment brochures and emails. They are scam artists.

JP Maroney & HarborCityCapital.com Took $25K But Provided Sub-Standard Services

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Feb 04, 2017

JP Maroney returned $5K of the money 2 days after he said he would, when he got paid by another client. He returned the remaining nearly $16K a couple weeks after he promised, once again, when he got paid by another client. I am satisfied with the resolution.

Original review Jan 26, 2017

JP Maroney sold me his year-long "Authority 500 Mastermind & Media Mavens" program for $25K, to feature me in large publications like the Huffington Post and Business Insider. The goal was to build me up in Google searches.

Although JP Maroney initially said it was $20K, he came back and said it was $25K. Red flag #1, I suppose. After the money was paid there was radio silence. I emailed JP about this and he said someone would contact me.

Oooooookay. I said to him directly there was such a hurry for him to get the money from me, let’s please not have this be a thing where the service is slow to be delivered. As it turned out, I was right, in that most of the service was not delivered at all. The 1st article was published on 7/30/16, but it didn’t link back to my regular web site.

The link was to some random back page on my site that wasn’t even a written page and wasn’t available to the public. To this day (January 2017), it does not show up in Google results. There was coaching every week in this program, and the coach was excellent. But there came a day when the coach had to fire me.

He was exceptionally nice, professional, and gentle about it. But bottom line: he wasn’t getting paid, and he hadn’t heard from JP for several weeks. Additionally, the coach himself, out of his own pocket, paid for the 1 article to by published. As far as the 2nd article in the works the coach paid for that too.

I fully understood that was a scenario that could not continue. The coach and I are in perfectly good relationship today, and we speak frequently. All is well on that end. JP re-contacted me and I asked for a refund.

He said in a written email, “We'll be issuing a refund for the balance.” I requested $20,833 back by 12/15/16, and sent my bank wire instructions. JP’s email response was “sounds like a plan.” On the agreed-upon date, in the evening, I texted JP because I had received no money. The next day he texted back, “Will be sending. I’ll email details.” He said nothing for a few weeks, then came up with a plan to wire me $5K by 1/5/17, and the balance by 1/18/17.

I received the $5K 6 days late, after JP Maroney got the money from another client. On 1/18/17 JP emailed me to say a big payment from some other client had not come through, so as of this date, 1/26/17, I guess I’m supposed to wait until…
