I was looking for a nail service closer to home, so I thought I would give Happy Nails a try. I went in for a nail fill and a pedicure. I brought in my own pedicure/nail kit to be used. A few words of warning, in my experience... The guy seemed pleasant enough and the pedicure chair was great, but I got a quickie pedicure and they used cheap or old polish, because my toe polish began chipping in about a weak. My toes were drying, while he was working on my nails. The guy said he had 17 years experience doing nails but he made my natuarally curvy nails look flat!, and he left loose acrylic on most of my nails, that I filed off right there in front of him. We were just about done when he took my flip flops out of my kit and said "I will just throw these away and give you a new pair next time you come in" I was really taken aback, but I stammered "OK" because I figured he was just trying to drum up return business. I had already decided I wouldn't be back to him for nail work, but as I said, the pedicure chair was worth a return trip, and I didn't know yet that the nail polish was so *** The next time I came by they were closed (more than an hour earlier than their sign advertised. Hmmp! Wasted trip. The next time, he wasn't there to fullfill his agreement, and again, I got a lousy nail job. I was now convinced no one had experience in that joint. The following, and final time, I went there (for a pedicure), the guy was there, but didn't have time to squeeze me in. It was like a Tuesday for Pete's Sake. The sign says walk-in's welcome, not, by appointment only. Again, another wasted trip. OK, so that was IT for me! I walked out determined to not come back, but then I remembered he still had not replaced the flip flops he took from my bag, so I went back in, and I told him "just replace the flip flops you took and I'll be on my way". Well, his response to that was he didn't have any in stock right now. I said, "Of course you don't" and walked out again for the LAST time!
