Great service

Handyman on command was efficient and gave me clear expectations. After having 4 people out to my home, he was able to identify the true problem and provide a temporary fix until the following day when he was right back to my home to fix the problem.

He charged me a price I found fair and was very much worth it compared to other companies I had estimates from, even after he identified the problem.

Much appreciation and God bless you Mr. Handyman!

Response ro comment before me

Built custom island for the kitchen. (pics included) Also, put down a laminate floor, recommended putting a subfloor as well to support the island weight.

Cust declined due to lack of funds. The customer had a great attitude whole time I was working, very friendly and outgoing. When the job was finished customer paid and we both went on with our business. Then 2 weeks later customer calls to complain about the floor.

Reluctantly after customer trashed my company name over several social media and business sites I agreed to replace the floor and install a new one, also put paid for subflooring to be installed. BBB investigated and decided to remove customers complaint from record citing " Company did everything they possibly could to settle the dispute"

Sincerely,

-Handyman on Command Managment

Terrible work and terrible customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Recently had laminate flooring installed in kitchen/dining areas. Floors are sagging, heaving, and splitting because of improper installation. Requests for remediation have been unanswered except for claims that I'm unreasonable to expect a quality installation. The materials were not handled properly, and the sub-floor was not properly prepared according to several flooring experts (who reviewed the installation after the fact). The trim work is below sub-standard, and calls to Tom Beatty were met with denial. I was told that the problem was mine, and I should be satisfied with an expensive floor installed by a self-aggrandizing (though incompetent) tradesman.

The trim work is atrocious and resembles the work of an unskilled child, at best. This "contractor" is a fraud; he knowingly did an inferior installation (squeezed-in between projects performed for his one paying property-owner), and was unresponsive to requests for remediation.

The latest correspondence was a statement that Beatty (dba "Handyman on Command") had no time or money to rectify the improper installation. Search a contractor carefully (include credit and criminal histories), especially this one. There are many qualified and honorable tradesmen in business that I hold in high esteem. Handyman on Command is not among them.
