Handy Man Expert Assembly Late Cancel

I paid for expert assembly and I called the guy to confirm he was coming and he told me the office canceled him. I took a half a day off work to make sure I was home, and I've already paid for it. I cannot get anyone on the phone from the Handy Man. They also sent a second confirmation email this morning. No one from the company ever notified me that they were going to be canceling. Money lost for a half-day off of work!!! Bad Business

AWFUL customer service and NO warranty

Approximately one month after an assembly of 6 simple IKEA cabinets, I wanted them to return and adjust the doors which were not hanging evenly. Approx 20 phone calls and 3 weeks of my time, they finally lied to me and told me there were other installers there and so there is no warranty. I was on site - a blantant lie to avoid honoring their one year warranty. They are not the cheapest and there is no supervisor or manager to handle ANY customer service. I am STUCK. My client is dissastified and I have no recourse to fix the problem. I hired them because of their warranty.
