Substituted old no-amenity bus for advertised "luxury" bus.
Hampton Luxury Liner advertises luxury bus service to and from NY City and Atlantic City, with "Movies on five flat screen televisions, FREE Wi-FI internet access, Personal power outlets in every reclining leather seat, New rear snack bar, refrigerator, and library." Purchased a round trip ticket from them ($45 to Atlantic City on 7/1, $15 return to NYC on 7/4) and was put on a worn out, old standard bus going to Atlantic City without, of course, the promised amenities. Phoned them days later to complain and they fully acknowledged substituting an old non-luxury bus without amenities and promised immediate $15 credit. After one week, no credit arrived. Called again, was offered $10 this time and, when the $15 promise was brought up, they hung up. Called back to finish conversation and got hung up on again. Will now tell credit card company to withhold the full $45 for Hampton's failure to provide the advertised product and service. Worse than the junky bus provided in place of their "Luxury Liner" was their brazen, rude, "too bad" response to a complaint about a clear cut failure on their part which they fully acknowledged.
