I'm very happy with everything I have bought from Halstead Bead. They consistently meet or exceed my expectations.

I have been ordering from them for about five years and have never found any problems with anything I have ordered. Their prices on comparable items are generally lower than RioGrande although Rio has a wider selection.

I do wish they would provide free shipping on larger volume orders but the shipping is prompt so I never wait to receive items I need. I rely on them and they haven't let me down yet I buy footage chain and wire in sterling and have never found any variation in the core.

Sounds like what ever the unfilled items u had wanted but did not get were out of stock/sold out/unavailable...so deleting such items off the order would make sense other wise you would be charged for items u did not get since they are out of stock! Company's some times over sell on items that are popular and this can't be helped!

When u order online or mail order it's a risk u take with any company! Certainly not something to complain about or write a bad review over! Do u really expect them to send u an item they do not have? Be realistic!

I have been ordering from halstead since 2013 and have had nothing but good relations with them! They are very helpful, every order has been exactly what I wanted! And shipped quickly! And top quality too!

I have made about 25 total orders to the total of over $5000...and very happy with quality service and shipping!

Fake Sterling Silver Wire

I'm horrified because I've been selling my jewelry as being wrapped in Sterling Silver. I purchased 1 Troy Ounce of 21G Half Round STERLING SILVER Wire.

I just noticed every time I cut it it's copper!!! WTF? Seriously? I did NOT purchase plated or filled it's supposed to be Sterling Silver therefore that is what I sold it as.

Now I also know why my pickling solution was ruined! I couldn't figure out how on earth I ended up with plated things in my pickling with the rest of my sterling silver which I had soldered. I have rest of it still with the tag which says SW21H. Look it up and sure enough it says Sterling Silver.

I just made five cuts because I couldn't believe my eyes and yup it's copper just plated with silver. How can you do this?

I have been buying from Halstead for many years without negative incident. They consistently provide exactly what I purchased.

On one occasion, I ordered the wrong item. They took it back without a complaint and sent the replacement item. It was entirely my mistake.

Perhaps there was a mixup with your order.

I believe them to be reputable and honorable.

Don't buy from this company, it's a scam! They lure you in with a dollar item, then start randomly charging your account about a month after.

We're in the process of disputing two charges of almost $70 each that we never authorized. And all because the wife got duped into this offer.

Pissed off consumer !!!!doesn't quite get across what they do to you!!!! double charging....

have to wait to get the money back!! who's going to tell the bail bondsman ?? that they haven't heard from me yet!! I'm on my way now to call ..they better watch bare ***!!

I will give them a verbal lashing... they sent out congratulations you get 3 for free just pay shipping $4 a piece!! $12.00 with no commitment afterwards they charged my card $120 I don't even have these *** rings!! Because what's worse is that I took them out to to sell, them, thinking I was going to make money on it and they have been lost or stolen I'm out all of the money !!

With no rings! ! is that it for you???

or would you like more ???yes you want more!! because they also guaranteed me a 25 dollar Walmart card and if I called this number I would get it double and its all fun & lies for them

After I read this review, I quickly canceled the order. So if they were to take any money out without my permission Ill be getting a hold of my bank & there will be charges pressed.

Rude, vague, and they make up their rules as they go along.

To put it simply, I placed an order that I expected to be filled. I received the order only partially filled and I was not notified about it at all.

When I contacted them via email, a woman named Linda said that I can place a new order for the items but I have to reach a backorder minimum of $30 and reach the order minimum of $100. The total of the items was only $20. So I wrote back saying this was unacceptable and when I received no response I called. I got a woman named Laurie who was quite rude and told me to check their terms.

They can modify your order and don't have to tell you at all but frankly everything is vague. "We reserve the right to add to, delete from, or modify any or all documents, information, or other content appearing on the Site." "THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS-IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE DISCLAIMED." So they can delete things off their website and now my order too apparently. That's what they have interpreted this to mean. The As Available items they don't have to acknowledge.

Have you ever heard such nonsense? I am so disappointed in the service I received because I didn't mind the products although they were not of the highest quality.

I had planned on returning part of the order but now I order if it is even worth it. I regret purchasing from this company.

Horrible customer service and double charging for orders

Their jewelry findings are top-quality, but there customer service is awful! If you use a debit Visa/Mastercard to purchase items online, they double-charge you and treat you rudely when you ask them why that is.

I was told in a very rude manner that it was my fault that I was charged twice because I didn't use a credit card and used my debit card instead. I have done business with this vendor for over eight years, but I'm taking my business elsewhere now.

Save yourself the trouble and walk away FAST from this vendor!

I too was great badly by a agent there. I am glad I did not sign up.

To talk to me the way he did was horrible. I was hung up on when I asked him not to tell me I was being a foolish old lady.

What a ***! Bad customer service scared me away and right away..
