A relative of mine joined the Seattle Hair Club. One of the hair technicians started "flirting" with him in order to obtain larger tips. She then manipulated him into a "inappropriate relationship". She contacted him via text, cell and even continued to request him to...

Hair Club for Men is a smooth talking sales person claiming that they only use FDA proven to work products. (Their EXT shampoos, sprays, cream are not FDA approved.)The only FDA product they use is minoxidil which you yourself can buy for 30 dollars or less at Wal Mart...

Hair Club in Conroe, Texas - Dishonest, Uncooperative, Liars, Scam, Inefficient, Poor Quality

Poor service, unprofessional quality and quantity. Hair stylist poor, quality of product poor, uncooperative, total ripoff. Do not finance with Care Credit. They will pay Hair Club all money upfront. When Hair Club will not perform as promised, will not return money and Care Credit will not make adjustment as contract states they will. A real pain in the south end. A total set up scam. Heed my advice, don't get caught up in the lies and worthless promises. Its not as sweet as they make it appear. Use Caution and good sense. Also, Hair Club will not stand behind product and when product fails, want you to finance or spend more money on another piece of worthless product. Its is definitely not what they advertise. I rather spend my life bald, than another penny with a useless and worthless Hair Club. Its a joke.

I agree with all your comments. This company needs to be put out of business.

If someone did something bad to them, I don't think I would feel sorry for them. Please.......the only people that may benefit from them are the ones that don't have any hair at all. My hair was thinning in the top and they put a light on my head and told me that my cells were dead and the hair wouldn't grow in the top anymore. I later found out that the Dilantin that I was taking was making my hair come out.

I switched doctors and now my hair is trying to grow back in. I've learned that you have to do research before doing anything now.

Scam and fast talking Hair Club for Men

I agree with the person that posted the 7/17 Hair Club for Men Scam. I went in for a hair transplant consultation and was told that my hair was too thin and did not have enough hair in the required areas to transplant. OK so I went for the bio maxtrix deal> I also was not told that it was a wig and that my head would be shaved to 1/8 of an inch. I currently have shoulder legnth hair on 2/3 of my head. Concerned that if I would not be happy with my "new head of hair" I was advised by a consultant that they could leave at lease 3 inches of my own hair "just in case". Also, when I got home I saw that my copy of the contract was not in my folder and it was not mailed to me for 2 weeks, long after the 3 day cancellation period was over. Now 2 months later my hair has arrived and I am scheduled for a fitting this weekend. Would it be possible for you to forward my e-mail address to the person that posted the 7/17 complaint? I would like to find out how their complaint was resolved "just in case" my new hair also comes out looking like a cheap wig.

Folks, HairClub has tens of thousands of happy customers. It is not for everyone. So you are reading just the unhappy ones here.

I almost did not buy an I pad because of the reviews. Since then I bought two.

Dont let some one elses expierence taint your decision. If you want to go in for a free consultation, just leave your credit card at home.

Talk to the hundreds of customers that are already there.

Make your own decision.

From a Happy Club member for over 26 years!

@thingkv Your review was in 2009. I recently went to a Hair Club office and went throught the procedure. They DO NOT try to sell a more expensive "wig". There is ONE hair piece!!

Yes you go in monthly which was explained to me on day 1. There are programs to chosse from depending on your needs.

I decided at first not to go ahead and signed the paperwork for the full refund with no problems. I was then offered a deal to try it for 30days and if not happy, receive a full refund.

Over all, I was very happy with my dealing with the Hair Club. Everything was explained, costs etc. No pressure selling at all.

Whether or not I will like it after 30days is anyones guess but with a full money back offer, I have nothing to lose.

The "wig" you're getting first will be the worst so that they can "work" you up to the more expensive "systems". They don't tell you they start you at the bottom level and that the the one you get is going to have to last you for several months...

which it won't. They never let you see it dry either, the systems always look okay when they're wet. You'll also have to go in monthly, you have limited visits included in your package that aren't enough to cover your visits you'll require and then will be charged about $100 for each visit needed for them to GLUE and tape the system to your head. Sorry this is late and you've probably already figured it out but maybe it will help someone else.

Those chemicals in the glue... I don't know what they are and they will not tell you what is in them but you will have a permanent ring around your head from repeated "applications". They will tell you time periods for the applications differer from person to person because of body chemistry and washings but in reality it only stays on good for about a couple of weeks. Then it starts coming off.

If you get a really bad system in, you're stuck wearing your old worn out one for 4 to 6 weeks till another one arrives. Trust me, when they start wearing out they go fast and look horrible. Get out of it while you can. Change your credit card number and send them a letter giving them 30 days notice.

(that's what they've included in their often updated contracts they make you sign before any new systems are ordered) They shave your head and you're over a barrel and under their control. The costs are going up, you have to use their products only and they're not cheap.

It took me years of looking like I was wearing a wig before they worked me up to almost a $1000 a system ($300+ a month, 1 new system every three months) I still walk out upset more than happy...and people STILL ask me if I'm wearing a wig. Half my head was shaved to a quarter of an inch and covered in glue and tape...what else was I supposed to do?

Hair Club

Thanks for all the reviews about Hair Club. It helped me change my mind and save money. They seem like just a business trying to rip people off. When they asked for deposit they processed everything really fast but for crediting my money back, they are acting so slow and do not respond my calls back! Shame on such a business!

I feel terribly sad, same happened to me, i went there HMC, the consultation was nothing new to what i already now about my recess hair, the info about how you loo was through photos, never saw a real person wearing it, everything was so confidential that yo cant see nobody, they fool me about how great i was going to look, that i didt pay attention to the real deal in money, i paid a deposit of 1,300.00. i didnt have a chance to read the contract because the were in a hurry for other client and they ask me to sign it quickly.

to bad i read all this things now. they are supposed to call me as soon as the matrix arrive but im going to cancel, i dont care if i dont get my deposit back, its better to loose 1,300.00 than spent a fortune and get more insecure about myself with a product like that.

Hair Club Atlanta

Hi, I have had a hair transplant at Hair Club Atlanta and I am really dissapointed about the service. I started with the EXT treatment, it did not help me in anything and it was very expensive, they sold me a product that is the same that you can find in the pharmacies way way cheaper. Please dont let you fool you, I am crying after all the money I have spent, and I have not seen any results. After the EXT service did not work, they got me into hair transplant. I still have numbness, and overrall y have lost more hair that I got. They took the hair from my back and put it in the front. I just wanted more hair, not moving my hair around.

I absolutely would NOT recommend The Hair Club for Men and Women to anyone! I was charged $1000.00 and received no services or products. I signed a contract (after a great deal of high pressure tactics, I might add) to receive the product they call "my hair"...

I got ripped off at the one in Charlotte, NC. They were so nice at the beginning but when I told them that I wasn't happy with it the next week, I found a whole different attitude with everyone and now I have a $2700.00 bill.

I'm thinking about stop paying it. I could have taken this money and bought some good Remi hair from the Korean hair store that would have looked much better than that thick, heavy, funky, hair that they glue to your hair line, and please don't go to the Bahamas and sweat like I did.

Hair Club For Men's "consultant" is nothing but a trashy, smooth-talking salesperson. In the so-called "free consultation", I was informed that their awesome product was not a wig. Like an ***, I let the "consultant" rush me into...

I went to Hair Club a couple of years ago. My bangs were falling out.

They charges me about $2,500 and to date my bangs have never come back.

Also, for two years I haven't had to shave my legs or under arms so Hair Club has done me no good. I still had to pay them.
