Terrible customer service at Haaga Mattress in Salt Lake City

I purchased a mattress at Haaga Mattress Salt Lake City location. All sales final not verbally stated. I called to cancel before any delivery or action by the company. No dispute process because person to decide dispute not identified or available. My experience was that employees were not always truthful, evasive and tended to malign customer. Checked with BBB and other online complaints indicating similar experiences before posting this complaint. The company has multivarious websites under the name of Haaga Mattress, two of which had email addresses to contact the company that didn't work. I found a website that worked and received a one-sentence email stating that they would refund me if I would stop "harassing" them. There was no name on the email but it did have the company email address in the heading. I have yet to receive the refund.

You should be aware that no company is obligated to offer or give refunds. It's an interesting concept that if a store doesn't post or say or write something like, "All Sales Final," that the consumer is able to receive a refund.

If they do offer refunds and make that a condition of the purchase, then they are obligated to follow through with the guarantee. Knowing this, you may want to still take delivery of your purchase so you have something to show for your money.
