Recieved a $100gift online thru Gyft. can not get into acct and have submitted several request for help and hvent a word from them.

Can not redeem a gyft from a friend that was sent to my device. have tried to get in touch to get help but have not heard a thing from them

User's recommendation: very confusing to redeem gyft card and their website is useless. No consumer support .Great way to steal money from people. what a scam.

Received cards as gifts-cannot access them

No customer service number. It's been a month since I requested assistance via email to zero response (outside of that they received my request). The cards have been unable to use since May 2018. It's now July and still NO RESOLUTION! I would recommend NOT BUYING FROM THEM. It seems like they take your money and do not give the recipient the option of ever using the card and they just KEEP YOUR MONEY. Not happy with their service. I called their mobile/website support # of (877) 758-****. They stated for months that they would send an email and that I needed to speak with "customer service instead of "customer support." They could not/would not give me a # to customer service and stated that they are not provided with phone #'s. What!!??

Gyft - Nonexistent Customer Service and Thieves
I redeemed $150 through Gyft for a gift card with one of their stores (6/25). Tried to use it immediately after purchasing and at checkout I was told there was no balance. I immediately notified Gyft about this issue through their boilerplate email ticketing system. I received a standard response that they got my complaint and would investigate. (see pic) If I had anything else to reply to that email message. I did several times over several days with absolutely no response. I finally found a phone number to call. The 1st time I spoke with a rep, they told me someone would return my call in 24-72 hours. No call back. I called again, they told me it would be escalated and someone would call me back in 3-5 days. Nothing. I called back again, and I was told it would be escalated/prioritized for real this time (because it hadn't been previously) and someone would contact me in 24-48 hours again. Well, as of this writing it's been 72 hours and still not a thing. It's $150 they've stolen from me and refuse to do anything about. I'd like to know my options in how to escalate this further. Clearly trying to resolve this through their joke called "customer service" isn't an option. Further, when I wasn't getting any response from them I called the vendor I tried to use the gift card at. They informed me that the card number I was issued on June 25th had already been redeemed on June 22nd. Upon further discussion, it was not their fault as the transaction would have originated with the e-card issuer which is....GYFT. Anyway, I have used Gyft before without issue. However, this experience and their total lack of true customer service has made it abundantly clear that I will NEVER use them again.

Resolved: Gyft steals money and doesn't respond to customers.

Gyft apparently has a deal with coinbase where they can be an approved client to make withdrawals from a coinbase wallet. I've made several purchases from them and never felt a need to look for an alternative until now. I made a purchase for a 150$ gift card and gyft took 149.99 out of my coinbase wallet which apparently has caused a hold on me getting the card. I have sent screenshots of the order from coinbase, and emailed them through their online form (the ONLY way of reaching any customer service) and I haven't even gotten an acknowledgment email that the ticket was received. When I started using gyft they were the only company who takes paypal and bitcoin to buy giftcards for stores online, but now there are other alternatives and I urge people to use someone else because gyft's customer service is horrid. This problem could have been resolved in minutes yet they continue to ignore me and I consider my money STOLEN Until they resolve this.

They wouldn't respond to emails, comments on facebook, the only way I got a response was by tweeting to them.

Resolved: Gyft has Audacity!

I was a customer for over a year. Placed almost a hundred orders totaling thousands of dollars so I can distribute amount my employees. One day, out of the blue, I get an email that my account has been suspended and terminated. Ok, I try asking why and all I am told is that I violated one of their polices. OK, which one I ask, not knowing what I could have possibly done wrong! Nobody wanted to give me a straight answer as to what, when or where. They just locked me out of my account with nothing to do to get back in. I have never felt so mistreated as a consumer or violated, that a company will just lock me out and not even tell me why. Who does that?

****Update**** After posting several such reviews the company reached out to me and explained why they cancelled me and reinstated my account.
