Poor Food Allergy Accommodations
I've got harassing messages on social media from the waiter, and the manager refused to talk with us. Locals say they avoid the place. We'll definitely never be back.
Our server, Corry, said more veggies would be added to the Baja Bowl, since I don't eat meat and needed a gluten free option. I have Celiacs Disease. What was brought to me was literally just 5 forks full of food (rice, beans, and a sprinkle of corn/salsa). The bowl wasn't but a third filled.
It wasn't even enough to help metabolize the mojito I ordered. And, the clincher was they charged me full price, as if I had meat and other ingredients on it that were not gluten friendly. Corry said he talked to Craig the manager, and he didn't care that I didn't get a decent sized meal to eat. And, their veggie burger is listed as gluten free but isn't.
We went a few doors down to a brewery, and I got more food to eat just ordering a side salad. If you have any allergies, know you will be treated poorly. Evidently, everything is prepackaged, and they just subtract but don't add anything to meals to accommodate those with allergies. They also only had rice or asparagus as sides, where the brewery we went to had multiple vegetarian sides and appetizers which were or could be made gluten free.
Skip Guy Fieri's! It is a dismal disappointment!!!
Talking with locals, it seems the establishment is known to be a rip off, preying on naive tourists. Go a few doors down to the Brewery, and you will get better food, accommodations, and service.

If I am ever in Branson, I will definitely eat here. The pictures of the food look incredibe. Someone whining about their food limitations at a restaurant have no bearing on my decision whether to eat there.
I live in Branson and won't eat there. You get more fir your $ at Mc'D's! The portions r Krystle's size FFS!
The waiter should have been up front with this party and told them they would not be accommodated. If you have salads and other vegetarian items on a gluten free menu which no longer are available or are not truly gluten free, why have them on the menu.
Feeding anyone a few spoonfuls of vegetable garnish for a meat dish isn't an accomodation, and here Guy claims he wants to write a vegan cookbook? Really?

The menu looks like a meat lovers dream. It is clear OP and her friends did not look ahead of time.

Noticed the worst comments from restaurant staff were removed by Pissed Consumer! Telling people they should be shut ins and not enjoy going out is typical of truly ugly people!
Being few are looking at reviews on pissed consumer and they notify the restaurant.. spot on. SMH!
This is a public internet forum where people can post reviews/complaints about any person or company in the world and anyone can respond with their own 2 cents. To assume someone responding works for the restaurant you reviewed is quite ignorant.
Speaking for myself, I am anonymous because I choose to be so. I have been commenting off and on this site for the last 15 years. I have commented on thousands of complaints and reviews of all kinds, for restaurant, retail and online services and more.
I have been accused of working at a variety of different places, from Amazon to Texas Roadhouse to Lyft, Uber, IBM and more! It is always kind of funny.

You should just stay home. You sound miserable. Your group you went with obviously doesn’t care if you have any choices, so don’t force yourself on the restaurant.

I think the OP should be more upset at any/all people that chose the place. The OP’s dietary restrictions can’t matter more to the restaurant than to her friends.
The menu is set. The friends’ caring and behavior should not be.
They could clearly add more vegetables to any option, but being they didn't shows a mentality that clearly isn't about accomodations and being concerned about customers. The veggie burger that isn't gluten free, is on the gluten free menu, but has gluten in it will surely make someone very sick.
We actually asked to see the list of ingredients of this item.
They still have it on the gluten free menu though. SMH!
