Consumers are not pleased with Exchange, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Customer service. The price level of this organization is high according to consumer reviews.
Don’t hire these people
They installed the system three months ago, gutters clogged after one month, since then I am trying to have them come and clean gutters and fix the issue, every time I call they say you will be contacted by our team and no one is really call or come or even care, no manager to to talk to, their agent who sold me the service is not answering his phone!

once i let the online world know of my dissatisfaction, the company agreed to make things right.
Gutter Helmet Roofing Division responded quickly after I posted this negative review. They did everything I wanted: repaired the roof and paid my bill for $825 for interior damage caused by the leak.
there's a lesson here: don't suffer in silence and wait for the company to get around to you. wake them up.
i experienced a roof leak in my back bedroom due to heavy snows in march, 2018.
I obtained 4 estimates for a new roof and submitted the claim to my insurance company, Amica, which is great by the way, and they agreed to pay.
Hired Gutter Helmet to put on new TPO flat roof with a 25 year warranty and paid deposit April 12. Work was scheduled for May 1 -- not done until May 31. During that month, the roofing materials sat out in the rain, blocking my driveway.
On May 31, I paid the balance, $5,000.
Two days later - the first time it rained - on June 3, the roof leaked in a different bedroom. Gutter Helmet sent out a guy with a caulk gun and said it was fixed. The next time it rained, on June 10, same problem, fresh damage. And it has still not been fixed. My bill for the new damage is $825. I get nothing but promises and unreturned calls from Rod Arce at Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet roofing division.

Failed to show up
The installers did appear on the third appointment. The installation was perfect, the Techs were courteous and the installation was better than the Gutter Helmets I had installed nine years ago.
I was even given a $50.00 restaurant card. I'm now sorry that I complained about them.
I've had Gutter Helmets before on a previous home and now on my Condo in Ohio. The ones i have presently on my Condo need replacement.
I had a salesman here about a month ago. He gave me a price and asked for 1/3 down, which I paid. Two weeks later a sales rep called to say I was scheduled for the following Monday. The mechanics would call when they were on the way.
That Monday the weather was clear and I received no phone call. I called Gutter Helmets the following day and was told the mechanics had called my cell phone and there was no answer, so they didn't come. My cell phone is on my person all the time and there is even voice mail. I called Gutter Helmets and said the mechanics had lied.
The sales rep said I would be be rescheduled, when a new schedule was made. She did call and said I had been scheduled for the next Monday. She even called me that Friday to remind me the men would be here on Monday (7/2). That Monday the rep called me to say the men had not shown up for work.
She would definitely have them scheduled for today (7/5), they would call when coming and offered a restaurant card for our trouble. It is now 11:00 AM and the workers are not here AGAIN. I called Gutter Helmets and got a voice mail this time. I left a message and have not heard back.
What is my recourse?
What should I do? I can't keep missing work and not have the people show up when they are supposed to.

Gutter Helmet Roofing One Big Lie
I had a GH Roofing estimate that started at $850/sq for the same exact "system" local roofers quoted me at $300/Sq. I was shocked.
They told me they were Platinum Preferred and no-one else around had that rating which was a lie. Also the sales rep had to do the famous call to his"Boss" for a discount which still had me paying $475/sq. The "Boss" was extremely arrogant and rude with his Joisey accent and belittling tone over the phone. The rep was very respectful and apologized for Boss Rod's behavior.
I am very glad to have used a local roofer to do my roof for 300/sq and same lifetime warranty offered from Owens Corning. Gutter Helmet also wanted to charge me $20/ft to remove and install my Helmet which would b more than the original price. Thievery. Turns out I did some research and found out the rude "Boss" had committed fraud in the same roofing industry in Philly and Jersey.

What kind of company would hire this type of reputation? Stay far away from Gutter Helmet Roofing!
Forget Gutter Helmet. It is too expensive and Useless
Forget Gutter Helmet. It is too expensive I paid $1800 in 2006.
1. they never tell you that you can call for a annual clean up. I didn't know until I called them come to check as the water didn't use the gutter at all. 2.
If I called them up, it would take them forever to come. 3. Even they came, they did a lousy job. 4.
I called them around October this year, they sent somebody to evaluate (no activity in past 3 years) and informed me that part of the gutter need to be fixed that would cost me $650. I would not recommend Gutter Helmet at all.

Price Gouge that makes Warrenty Useless
A month ago my wife and I decided that it was time to replace our roof. We hired a roofing company for the job and they told us to contact gutter helmet to have the gutters removed and re-installed.
the first thing that I ran into is that I was informed by Gutter Helmet Lednor Corp of MD, "that why they installed my system,I was now in a different territory and I would have to contact Mr. Fix-it of VA" to have them do the job. Once I contact Mr. Fix it of VA they said they would have to send someone out to measure prior to hem giving me a quote.
Once the individual came out and confirmed that I had 60 liner feet - he provided a cost estimate I could not believe. Gutter Helmet installed in 2002. According to cost sheet back then, to remove and re-install would cost $2.99 per liner foot. In the short period of15 years Imagine my surprise that this service today cost now $15.00 per liner foot plus $100.00 per trip for travel.
That means that the job in 2002 that cost me all of $600.00 to have installed, now will cost me $1,200.00 plus any materials to have gutters removed and re-installed.
THAT IS A RAISE OF 5X the COST in 2002 and DOUBLE WHAT I ORGINALLY PAID. GUTTER HELMET WARRENTY IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING --- If every time you replace your roof the cost of keeping Gutter Helmet is double what you paid.

Bad decision.
We had our Gutter Helmet installed 2 days ago on December12, 2017. I gave a good review after the installation mainly to the installers.
However we had a snow fall the next day and now there are icicles forming and they are forming over our garage doors. This morning my husband almost fell going out the garage not knowing there was ice on the macadam. We called the company a little while ago who confirmed that there would be icicles something the salesman did not inform us about. After reading the contract we saw that it did in fact state that we would have icicles.
The lady my husband spoke to asked if we had a heated system installed with the product, something the salesman did not inform us about. They are sending a representative out tomorrow so we’ll see.
By the way, there were 7 men here doing the installation of 40 feet of the helmet which took 15 minutes to complete. Need I say more?
Worst investment i made when i built my house !
When we sat down with salesman he said many times that i was not buying a product but buying a service. Well at the first couple service appointments when well.
They cleaned the sap and tree dust off the helmets and they worked good. Now the service has when down hill so bad that just walk around and make sure they are still on the gutters.
The rain comes right over the gutter and makes ditches in my yard. Very bad service had to wait 3 months to get service to come out to my house.Sure wish i could do more to get the message out about how bad this system really is.

i ordered gutter helmet for the front of my house , talk with salesman do all front of house , with car port included , new gutters on house only , not car port , installer said no to gutter helmet on car port , i called complained that salesman said car port was included for only hemet , a month or so later they called and said they would put the helmet on car port for me , no charge , they it would be installed some time in July , well its over and no Gutter Helmet on car port , i call ed and asked what was up left a message and no one called back , i don't believe this company is very honest , and trust worthy .

Still waiting for installation after a month. I had to call them to see when they were coming.
They told me I had an appt in the next 3 weeks. What does that mean? They finally came and had the wrong brackets. Another appt made .
Today they didn't show up. I'm sitting here all day and got no call. I called and rescheduled for Thurs. Will they show?
Your guess is as good as mine. Use another company. The only one that came down immediately was the salesman.
He took my deposit. I understand that the company gets delayed by rain, but there is no reason that they can not call if they are not going to show.

Was Happy with Helmet, but HIGHLY Dissatisfied with Roofing
I had gutter helmet installed in Aug., 2016. Was a happy, satisfied customer.
I decided to go with Gutter Helmet for new roof, so as not to "mess up" the Gutter Helmet system. Needless to say, they guys they sent out to do the roof damaged all but one run of the gutter helmet system. I was told that the gutter helmet would be removed, gutters cleaned, and then re-installed after roof was complete. NONE of that happened.
The roofers basically flipped the gutter helmet back, damaging most of it, along with my gutters. They came out and replaced a small portion to shut me up. Said the head guy would personally inspect my roof, but at the last minute he "couldn't make it". I have yet to have this situation taken care of to a satisfactory result.
I am irate..
They no longer answer emails or phone calls. I would NEVER recommend this company!!

Summary: Their internal office communications is disjointed and disorganized and their total lack of client concerns at the executive level are painfully apparent.
I hope this review of GutterHelmet installed by HarryHelmet saves someone else the frustration I have had for the past 4 months.
I purchased front and back GutterHelmet guards for my house and a front gutter and guard for my garage from HarryHelmet (http://www.harryhelmet.com) and had them installed in November 2014. After several rescheduled installation dates, the installation occurred and everything looked good. When the first rain came, I noticed leaking between the gutter and the garage. This was not coming down the outside of the gutter but between the garage and the gutter. I looked at the install and noticed the guards were sloped back toward the garage allowing water to pool and drain between the garage and gutter instead of away from the garage.
During this time I received an invoice for the remaining amount owed so I called support and said that I could pay the remaining balance when the issue was fixed. I informed the support person of my findings with the guards. A team was sent out (1-2 weeks from reported issue) and they “adjusted” the gutter guards. When it rained next, I noticed the same issue. I did not immediately report this as it was in the dead of winter with sub-freezing temps.
I again received a call from Harry Helmet about the outstanding balance and again said I was still having the issue but would be more than happy to pay the balance when they fixed the issue. This seemed to be ok with support and they scheduled someone to come out and fix the issue (again… 2 weeks from collections phone call). Late Friday afternoon before the scheduled Monday service appointment to try to correct the ongoing issues, I received an email from the controller of “Gutter Helmet Systems” saying that I was “seriously past due” and “Failure to pay this amount will result in a LIEN being placed on the property for non payment.” As it was after hours when I received the email, I called Monday (The day of my service appointment) and talked with the controller who informed me it did not matter what support said… it’s in the contract that I need to pay. I explained that I would have paid sooner but support indicated that it was ok for me not to pay until the issue was resolved. After it was explained to me that this was not the case, I promptly paid the amount in full via credit card.
During our communications I asked if the president of the company could call me. I was informed that he was told of my request to talk with him and that he would NOT be calling me.
The technician came out and reviewed the issue and mentioned that they would need to come out for what could be a full day to reinstall the gutter and guards to correct the issue. As of this review… the issue still exists.
The lack of client concern by the executive team, the inability to escalate to someone higher in the company and obvious breakdown in departmental communications have solidified my decision to NOT move forward with further solutions through this company. Hind sight is 20-20… don’t make the same mistake I did.

I live in Northbend Wa and bought the product in May from the tukwilla location the sales guy was honest and followed up after install. Danny the install guy was great , he has come out and checked to insure it performs because we have lots of pines right beside my home no issues it is a great product.
I had screen I put in they didn't work.
I think I made the best choice with gutter helmet. The process was great Tom,Danny,Brandon did a great Job of earning my business and my neighbors just bought from Tom on my recommendation
