Ladies be careful!

@ Gunther Ft. Lauderdale.

My friend was getting car serviced and they convinced her to lease a new car, the deal was done and 3 days later she went back to get window tint, I was with her and I bought a car in the used department. Her salesman had her sign a paper that she owed them $650 (she did not tell me about this). and the finance co called for the payment on her old car a few weeks later....

I'm a bit worried about my deal,, they might end up getting a couple of cars back. Ladies be careful!

Ripped off over $4000.00

Purchased a used vehicle that was overpriced due to Gus Menchaca sales tactics. Once in his office he never explained exactly all the fees and what was the sale price of the car.

He just said work with the bottom price while he left a lot of blank spaces on the contract. We went back and forth on the sale price for a while and after an hour of them holding my trade in keys, being pressured, not having the correct figures in front of me. Did the deal. After I noticed they used my trade in to bring up the sale price of the car.

Ended up paying $4000. + More than I should have. Also they said all the maintenance was done on the car, It wasn't according to the dealer they took it too. Missing $600.

Worth of 30,000 mile service. They were nice enough to change the battery, they topped of the tank and we're going to touch up the car. I had purchased another car from Gunther Mazda 3 years ago, but will not go back.

they have lost my business for good. The first Generation Gunther Family would not be pleased.

Gunther Volkswagen - Car Trade In Review from Tamarac, Florida

Gunther VW in FLL is getting to be just as bad as the Coconut Creek location. I told the dealer that I wanted to do a trade and wanted to see both a buy and lease option.

I had to haggle for a decent enough trade price an then got driven around to look at cars I didnt want because they didn't have exactly what I wanted. Spent the entire day there and still they would not talk price and was never given any information on buying. Came back the next day and had to demand a price before I went any further. They will do everything to try and distract you from the fact that they want you to pay MSRP.

The price was not acceptable and they continued to try and push me to lease even though I wanted to buy. At gunther customer satisfaction does not exist.

Headliner has fallen

After looking at the complaints about falling headliners for cc models and others, it appears to be numerous failures. I called customer relations if thats what they call it and there excuse was there are no call backs about the situation and that the internet is monitored by them for car problems and they not only do not want to help in anyway, but pretty much turned there back on us.

I am sure they have multiple problems about falling headliners, that they are turning a blind eye to. We have given them this year 3 sales, and 3 more within the last three years and if they do not fix this headliner not only are the days of getting cars there but i am very good at spreading the word about companies that govern themselves in this manor.

Terrible Attitude

I recently visited Gunther VW Mall for buying a car. I had a terrible experience with the salesmen there.

They were not cooperative at all and was very harsh spoken. Their prices changed drastically when the final papers were ready and I had to pay more dollars for my new Volkswagen. I personally recommended to avoid this store for buying cars. They were very poor at their marketing and I had to suffer for their miss management.

Every people should be aware of this before visiting this store for buying a new car. The store salesmen are thieves and they manipulate the car prices and you will never have the same price when you take a quote and when you actually buy it.

Don't waste your time at Coconut Creek VW!

Very pretentious. They act intelligent, but divert from logical questions per tier rates and qualifying credit scores.

My fico scores are 745+ and I was quoted a lease payment with a 600 score. I figured this out when asking about the money factor (lease interest rate). I walked out after the finance manager couldn't give me a logical answer for this error.

Bottom line, they're not forthcoming with relevant information (Eric Schmidt, Moe Ali, and Gregg Freeman).

I took the day off from work to complete this transaction and I was completely turned off after this experience. Don't waste your time with these characters.

Gunther VW of CoconutCreek Screwed Us Again

I have a friend that was searching to buy a VW over the internet. To make a long story short after about six emails they arrived at a price and was told the Sales Manager Jeff Foreman would back it up.

When my friend got there the next day, not only did they not honor the price as it was only "good for that day" they raised the lease payment by $50 dollars per month. After much heated conversation as my friend had the email printed, Foreman told him th get the F#$% out of the store.

Gunther of Coconut Creek is the most dereputable dealership on the planet!!!

These guys are the *** bags ofthe world!!!A customer recently came into buy the new garbage Passat from the internet as advertised on TV by general manger Rob Klein.Of course that price didn't exist. It's called lowballing,a technique whose sole purpose is to get you in the store. After a scream fest with the one ofthe managers,Jeff Foreman and then Moe Ali they were forced to honor the deal.In order to increase their profit the customer, whose Beacon score was over 800 which would qualify for 1.9% financing was bumped to 2.65%.The customer should of known better and complained after the fact to no avail.

THESE GUYS ARE ***, BUY YOUR VW AT ANY OTHER DEALER IN SOUTH FLORIDA!!!!

Gunther Volkswagen In Coral Springs Will Rip You Off Fff

I purchased a 2011 Volkswagen From Gunther Volkswagen in Coral Springs. I dealt with a high pressure salesman who forgot to tell me the transmission in the car is dangerous, does not shift properly and virtually renders the car inoperative.

The salesman asked me to pick up the car the same day I leased it. Some baloney story about how he needed my help for him to access his bonus. The car was pushed on me before I had a chance to drive it before delivery.

I have brought the car in for service three times and they tell me there is nothing wrong. They refuse to stand behind their product.

To me they're a bunch of thieves. First, don't buy a Volkswagen.

Secondly, don't but from Gunther Volkswagen in Coral Springs Florida. They are a bunch of crooks who want to steal your money, then blow you off.

Worst dealer I've ever dealt with. They are snakes and don't let you leave the dealership until they close the deal.

Worst service department as well. I've taken my CC in for scheduled maintenance and I noticed a rattle underneath. I've heard this for over a year now. The service agents continually miss this rattle sound under my car three separate times!

I bring in my car, they claim rattle is fixed,I drive the car off the lot, SAME RATTLE.

I've contacted VW Customer Care, they were useless other than an apology. I also had my tires rotated at 10,000 miles and I have the loudest wobble woble noise every time I drive under 50 mph. Nothing seems to be able to be done about that other than an *** serviceman suggest to me to buy new tires.

Enough is enough. I advise everyone to buy your car from any other VW dealership in South Florida.

This is the most dishonest and discpicable car dealership in the indusstry. They will pressure you with complete lack of integrity and honesty.

Sales managers are worse. They will tell you that you are getting the car below invoice and even show it to youon theircomputer screen. Remeber its THEIR SCREEN. They als have cash incentives that VW will give them and advertising incentives that can add up into the thousands and it shows up nowhere.

They also have a $499 dealer fee that is not negotiable. They alsoget compenated from VW on every car they move.

THE DEALERSHIP NEVER LOSES. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO VISTA.

I'm wondering what the point of your post is.

Let me get this straight - you complain because this particular dealership won't let you leave until the deal is done? Would you rather leave with a deal half done? They want your business and that's a good thing. Try walking into a Lexus dealer where they ignore you unless you have an appointment, and god forbid you ask for a deal of some kind - how gauche!

As for the service crew having difficulty locating a rattle, its the most difficult thing you can ask a scv dept to do. Cut 'em some slack. It's not like they told you to F-off or something.

And you blame the dealership because rotated tires don't feel the same after 10,000 miles of use. How is the dealership service department responsible? Try rotating at 5000 like everyone else next time.

I just bought my second car from them, and I can rate them the best dealership (overall) I have ever dealt with (4 new cars in 10 years). You just have to know your price BEFORE going in there to avoid the haggling routine, and the whole process becomes quick and professional.

Gunther so far so good.
