Gunnar - Defective Product - Will not replace

I purchased Gunnars frames and had them shipped to AUS. They landed and I assumed they were quality reviewed.

Passed them to my Optometrist for prescription lens to be added, only to see when they were returned that one of arms was not sitting correctly, and the screw, no matter how you tighten keeps spinning. The optometrist needed to change screw to a larger screw but was unable to make the arm sit straight. Contacted Gunnars and they want me to send the frames back. I have explained to them that the lens are already in the frames and I should have a replacement sent to me.

Any reputable company would do this. They only will send them if I send these back. As a previous customer, I am happy to send the substandard frames back after I get the new frames.

It is disgusting that they care little about the fact that I will be without glasses while I go through this process. Utterly disgusting and unprofessional.

Know that if you are dealing with Gunnars, they care little about the customer.

Preferred solution: Replacement frames send and happy to return poor quality frames after.
