Gumberg Library at Duquesne University aka The INSANE Asylum
I feel sorry for any wet behind the ears graduate of Library School in the area who might think that a job at Gumberg Library would be a great experience. There is a reason this place has a high turnover--THE INCREDIBLY POOR, ABUSIVE MANAGEMENT.
If being lorded over by dinosaurs (those that should have retired 10 years ago) is your thing--then by all means, start working here. You'll rethink the library field entirely and not in a good way. The Director (although I don't know what exactly she directs) goes by M. Diana Sasso.
Really? Your name is MAUREEN. Definitely not a "Diana", as this women is nothing regal. She is a complete pyschopath.
Insulting, rude and incompetent. Yet, she sits back in her hoarded corner office, lording over her minions who all hate her guts. The University Librarian Laverna Saunders is utterly useless. If management wasn't so backwards they would have fired these wastes of space years ago.
If you want to work somewhere where innovation, encouragement, and decency is common place, then look elsewhere.
