Problems with my car
No they have not contacted me. I am still having trouble with the sensor telling me my tire is low. My husband continues to put air in it and it last for a few days. They said there is nothing wrong with my tire. I plan to take it to have the tires rotated to see if it continues on the same side. I plan to trade the car in a few months for something else.
Problems with my car
I purchased a 2018 Nissan Maxima in August of 2018 from Pat Peck Nissan in Gulfport Ms. I have always purchased Nissans and has had several but not from a local dealership. I have purchased in Huntsville Al, Atlanta Ga, and also Slidell La. This was the first time that I purchased locally. I paid $38k for a car that I have had to repair the leather on the driver's seat twice and also the sensor for my tires on the right passenger side is constantly saying that my tire pressure is low. I took the car to Pat Peck for an oil change and asked them about fixing the seat that just started splitting on it's own and was told that they would charge me thousands of dollars because they will replace the entire seat. They referred me to a leather repair shop that charged me $400.00. Well the seat has another split in it and also the arm rest had a tear. That was another $175.00. The seat started splitting right after I had the car for about a year. I don't have little kids and take very good care of my vehicles. I always buy cars with leather and this is the first time this has happened. They also told me that there was nothing wrong with my tire and that they fixed the problem with the sensor. Well after about 2 weeks it started again. the same tire which is the front passenger side. My husband puts air in the tire but it still does the same thing. If I were to really need air in my tires, I wouldn't believe it. I am really considering trading and trying a different Model car. Maybe it's time to make a change from Nissan. I cannot keep putting money into a new car especially when I purchased a warranty.
