Yesterday, i brought my husband to the store in Kendall, Fl to purchase the Line 6 Helix and, either the Bose Compact system or the JBL Eon One system. He wanted to do an AB test of the two systems which were in the speaker room, side by side (the JBL was simply not plugged in). I took two instruments in for restringing. First I called Guitar Center in League City, TX who told me to bring the instruments in. When I arrived they told me the technician would be out for two weeks on vacation. I then took the instruments to Guitar Center in Pasadena, TX. They told me the technician would be in on Thursday. Very disapointed with service asked a simple question because i needed help about a product! And the guy behind the counter seemed like i was bothering him for help! And i was going to literally buy 2 guitars from him! I would rather burn my money in a trash can rather buy anything from them! Greetings! I fairly recently took a classical guitar to be repaired tuned up at the Guitar Center location off Shelbyville Road in Louisville, KY. I had been in the V.A. Bought a used Guild 12-string that appeared to be in great shape but which turned out to be missing the bridge plate, something only visible with the strings off and with a mirror to see inside the guitar. After several days and three phone calls to the N. I know they have people in guitar center stores who will intentionally sell items that are already marked sold but haven't shipped yet to make commission. I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me and it not only sounds like a really sketchy thing to do but seems illegal. I bought their gift cards to get their promo money and had confirmation my order was a done deal. Out of nowhere I received a email saying order cancel confirmed. No reason,... Read more

I almost went ballistic at the Boardman,Ohio Guitar Center. I went in at 8:30pm prepared to spend thousands. I walk in & noone's around. I go back to the electronic drum kits ready to buy a Yamaha VTX Kit and no sales person is anywhere. Kits say "Try Me" but the amps aren't cabled and there's no headphones anywhere in sight. I traded & got ripped off when I returned what I purchased after only having it over the weekend they said they sold my trade. Now I am out my trade & because I lost the discount of 10% for trading in you got my guitar for far less than I would have sold it for. Went to Moreno Valley store and they didn't have a cable I need , the person that help me order on line said o will was getting it 4 business day in the store. The cable was ship to other store so I haven't got it . Over 15 business days passed bye and haven't got my *** cable, I should of gone to San Bernardino where they are more pro.
