Even after completing the claim form and submitting with the original receipt and delivery note they took 3 weeks (inc me chasing numerous times) to respond. All along i have been made to feel like i am somehow at fault for one tiny chip in a table! Advice for anyone thinking of using Guardsman - DON'T!!!!! Guardsman said we could get money back or a new table. We chose a new table. The Gold Plan does not transfer to the new table. Our policy is for 5 years or a one-time claim, whichever comes first. They won't resurface the old table as they only do spot repairs. I asked where the policy states any of this and the rep became very snarky and would not answer me. I was told I could purchase a new 5 year plan on the new table for 150.00! What a rip...

this company is not insurance provider..it more resembles a company blatantly committing fraud.You will receive the run around until you are so frustrated you give up.These people has no problem pulling the last dime out of a senior citizen's pocket to void a payout... I bought a kingsize bedroom set from Ashley and they offered me 5 year protection plan. The mirror on the vanity broke and Guardsman has refused to replace the broken glass. They are a bunch of crooks.

Our Leather sofa faded horribly and the seams are separating but Guardsman won't cover anything despite under their "gold" plan. The sofa is under three years old and the manufacturer has stopped producing them (most likely due to fabric issues). This is completely joke of coverage. There is no reason to purchase this product. At the same time we purchased the Guardsman Gold plan for $399.00. In the first few months after purchase we noticed cracks to 2 of the chairs slats. Guardsman would not fix or replace, and luckily Havertys gave us 2 replacement chairs. The quality of the 5 chains is extremely poor. Guardsman is refusing to honor its warrant on our 5 yr protection plan stating we should've known better than to but the particular sofas we bought because they are material and would stain. In an email they clearly state that food and beverages stains are not covered despite being told upon purchase that all food and beverage, grease, blood etc stains are covered.
