I recently purchased tickets off of a website link titled Houston Lake Cinemas. When i clicked this link, i was brought to a selection of screenings for that evening.
I logically assumed they were for houston lake cinemas and purchased the tickets. When i arrived at the theater for my showing, it was revealed that i instead bought tickets for Riverwatch Cinemas which is several hours away from me. I was not the only one who seemed to run into this issue, however. The two customers in-front of me were also misled into purchasing tickets for the wrong cinema.
When the two customers and I talked to the staff at Houston Lake Cinemas about this, we were told there was nothing that could be done. I then called the Riverwatch theater who told me that Houston Lake Cinemas would be able to sort it out for me. This was not the case and i was unable to get a refund. I hope this can be resolved.
