The worst thing is a new scam of adding 18% gratuity automatically for groupon customers, even for small parties, regardless of bad food or service! The 18% of course normally almost eliminates the discount for the meal. I don't mind tipping generously for a good meal, but let's face it, restaurants that offer groupons do it for a reason. Please do not waste your money!!! I purchased a Groupon and tried to call to get an appointment. They give you a corporate number (nothing local) and the number immediately puts you on hold. After a few minutes it directed me to book on the website and hung up- I never got the chance to speak with a real person!!.

I tell Groupon. They refund me "because I'm within the 3-day grace window" and do nothing else. Um, no. You refund me because the business is a lie and you take the deal down. A WEEK later the deal is still up. I submitted the evidence to google and yelp. Both took less than 24hrs to verify my "claims" and post the business is closed. Omg what a joke.... I don't recommend anyone use Groupon after this experience. First it takes like 8 weeks to even receive what I ordered, then when I do its broken. You refuse to ship a new one because you "don't do exchanges" .
