I have done business with this company once before and ordered a custom shirt. I ordered a size 3XL, and it was nice and roomy.
As in previous complaints about their clothes being kid size, this is inaccurate. I am a big gal, and the 3XL fit really well. I can actually wear the shirt with leggings because of the length and how it fits. The shirt I received was not child-sized.
It was an accurate fit. Regardless, I received my last item within a reasonable timeframe, within 7 days. This time around, they are evidently using a cheaper carrier, and my package has been in the same location for 15 days, yes, I said 15 days. Groovy Hippie emails me and tells me it's a busy season for shipping packages.
Really? Not so. The busy season does not start until about the end of November. They gave me a lame excuse.
I did call my bank and got my money back. I will now stay away from this business, because now when you order an item, you don't get it. They just take your money and run. Was my package even shipped?
By the looks of it, I don't think it ever was because it's saying it is in the same location where it was started from. I think this company has changed because now it seems like a scam. Very sad, and shame on them for doing this. I am just confused about what happened to this company.
The shipping company they are using, according to my order, is CHLX, which I looked up and is a Chinese logistics company. Did Groovy Hippie sell out to a Chinese company? Will the product that I ordered be an accurate size like it was the last time? I just want to know what happened.
All I can say is, it's very sad. The last order I placed with them, they used a reliable service, DHL, and then the package was transferred to the post office. Unreal. I would recommend that you stay away from this company.
I know they show unique things, but stay away because you will never get your item. If they did sell their company to a Chinese outlet, who knows this time what I ordered might be child-sized. Just stay away.
Don't bother. Save yourself from the aggravation.

Company is a rip off
I tried to exchange their ridiculous sizes. They wanted me to pay again. Do not bother with this company.

BUYER BEWARE, when buying from Groovy Hippie! They DO NOT DELIVER THE PRODUCT THEY ADVERTISE!
1st the shirt was suppose to be MINT GREEN, arrived Sky Blue, then the outside material, does not feel good, and the inside is itchy & scratchey, finally because its NOT cotton, I need to go up a size, again, THEY wont exchange it!
I purchased a sweatshirt from this company, paid $45, waited 3 weeks for it to be delivered, to find its made of POLYESTER/SPANDEX, NOT EVEN 1% COTTON, tried to return/exchange/refund my money, ONLY to find out NOPE, they dont do ANY of the above!
Their correspondence regarding this WHOLE ISSUE has been full of lies, but dont worry theyve updated their product material!
Shouldve had a local make it, for me!
Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH The Groovy Hippie
MY LOSS, just trying to prevent it from happening to someone else! They need to rename their company to The Lying Hippie!

Garbage!
absolute trash. Sizing charge not accurate.
Shirt is not a "t-shirt" as described, it's a shiny, slinky, polyester hot mess.
Hangs below my knees. the design is much lighter than in the advertisement and you can barely see the writing on it.

I was thinking about purchasing a shirt for my daughter and hit to pay with PayPal as I was wanting to see delivery time...they have always sent me back to the site to review my order however it just placed the order instead. Well GROOVY Hippie policy states you can cancel your order within 1 hour which is what I did..thru email as that's their only means of communication...I was either ignored or they acted like I never cancelled...I actually cancelled 5 times!!!
It took 3 whole days before I got a refund!!
Absolutely the WORST customer service I ever dealt with!!! STEER CLEAR OF GROOVY HIPPIE unless you love loosing your money and being run in circles!

Not what I expected
I ordered Oct 29th received order November 15th. I did not know they offered cotton items, or they had a no return policy.
When trying to reorder an item for 1/2 price. Website continued to charge me full price. I don't prefer the silky material.
Find out all facts before ordering. Will not order again read everything before ordering
This company is an absolute scam do not buy anything from these people.

Hadn't noticed until I washed it, the threading was unravelled. My first hoodie no problem, 2 nd one ...

Deceptive Business practices- buyer beware
This company uses deceptive business practices and refuse to refund money or take returns for inferior products. The website clearly shows images of high quality clothes, while in reality they are using cheap, shiny polyester fabrics.
At the time of my order, there was no fabric listed on the website, and no information that they would not take returns if the products were not what the customer wanted. They stated in an email after my complaint that the fabric was added to the website AFTER my complaint, and then asked for more money to reprint the order on cotton shirts- while refusing to take a return and provide a refund. Their products are terrible quality, and their policy of no returns is not listed ANYWHERE on their website- by the time I found out it was too late. In addition- their address in the U.S.
is also likely false- by the time I found shipping info, it showed that these products were created and shipped directly from China. This company is a total lie all the way around- stay away!

Horrible service
You can buy shirts from the dollar store with better quality than the shirts you get from this company. Horrible communication.
And the product you received definitely doesn't match the product that's being sold. Just do yourself a favor and save yourself the aggravation.

Scammed out of money
Order the shirt. They said that there was something wrong with the address.
Then I had been returned. So I paid an additional eighteen dollars on top of the fifty sum that i've already paid.
