3.21.22 Unprofessional, disorganized and no communication. Had an appointment for 1040a, dropped around 1030a. Went to run errands with a friend. After 2 hours, I had to call them for status. Reception sent me to...? left my info, said service advisor would call me right back. About 5 minutes after that call I got a text saying this is Jim from Gresham dodge, if you have any questions reply to this text. I replied. No answer. After 20 minutes I texted again. 20 more minutes I called again. At 150p spoke with Jim, my service advisor. My truck had not even been pulled in yet. We talked about the text and no reply, no communication after I dropped my truck, and he said he should know something by 3. At 250p I stopped in. Truck still not even pulled in. He said maybe they could get to it in an hour. MAYBE??? So after 4 hours AFTER my set appointment, and no communication from them unless I initiated (the 4th time) I think I'm done. A complete waste of a day to have my truck sit in their parking lot. Had they told me it would take a whole day, I would have prepared for that or gone somewhere else. My time is valuable. If I need to leave it for a day for a noise, Tell me that. If you're that backed up, make appointments for later. There are several options to have made this better. They just seem not to care about other peoples time. Or communication. I do not recommend them in the least.

We had the worst experience ever with Gresham Dodge and Jeep! Walked in with CASH IN HAND TO PURCHASE a vehicle. I had negotiated a price with Eric and we had signed the paperwork agreeing to the discount, as we were paying cash. NO JOKE.... after paperwork was signed, Eric and Mike came back and said, "we made a mistake and you will need to pay the original price! SERIOUSLY.... we've already signed! We refused to pay more, done deal- MANAGEMENT(Eric Holms and Mike Crane) IS HORRIBLE, refused to come and speak with us or lower price back to what we agreed and signed for. We were told you can take it or leave it, they refused to contact the General Manager,Joe Levitt because it was his day off and he cannot be bothered. Well, we left it, even if they were to come back and sell for the amount we signed to, at this point-it's a waste of time and insult after the frustration they have caused- they've wasted our time and insulted us, let me remind you we had cash in hand and we are not talking a small amount. Customer service is key, I feel bad for the sales guy, Josh. The greedy finance manager or onsite managers (Eric and Mike) lost him the sale. We are talking about this being the easiest deal they would have done.. AGAIN, we had cash in hand! I will never do business with this company! They need to understand how to full-fill their commitments and honor their pricing. What game they tried to play today is totally unethical and slimy.

As for the "take it or leave it" part ; when presented with that choice I always flee.

Took my Jeep Liberty 2001 into the service dept to have it diagnosed for a problem. it would not start. after paying $800 to have them tell me whats wrong, I decided to take it home and have my mechanic fix it for much less than the 4000.00 Chrysler would have charged me. My mechanic found a red auto shop rag ground into the gears, brand new drive belt gone, and many other little parts and pieces either missing or broken. I made a list and took it to the shop to talk to them about it and complain. The manager and mechanic denied everything. They tried to blame the tow truck driver for the ground rag, saying the tow driver must have tried to start the car. To my knowledge thats not possible when everything is disconnected. I ended up speneding about 200.00 or more to replcace the parts the shop damaged or lost. When talking to the manager, I found out they came from another shop in Portland, Or that closed down. That other shop ruined my Cirrus years ago by not putting transmission fluid in the car at the last servicing on the contract. If I had known these were the same guys, I would not have taken my car there. They did not offer me anything or do anything to relieve my complaint. AWFUL SERVICE!!! rippoffs

Refused to help fix a known problem with the head lights over heating

I purchased a 2013 dodge charger, one that had known problems, The head lights started going out and it melted the left wire harness, I took it in to Gresham Chrysler in Portland OR, and they told me it was a known problem but they would not put that in writing. So I called the customer assistance hot line where I was told that no matter what they had to listen to the dealer, and their tech's on the issue, So long story I am now forced to repair a problem that was a known problem, this car I have only 44 thousand miles on it and I have to spent the 500 dollars to fix their factory defect. WOW what a bunch of great people to communicate with, they are absolutely unbelievable. My Dad used to work for Chrysler years ago and they have not changed. I am thinking of getting rid of my newly acquired car, Phew, I really have nothing good to say about them. I am extremely irritated. beyond words,, well any good ones that is. Unbelievable..
