NO WAY, GREENWAY VAN LINES MOVING CO., DANIA, FLORIDA

Please be aware that this company, GREENWAY VAN LINES of Dania Beach, Florida, will rip you off and hold your frunishings randsom until you pay. Please be aware and chooseanother moving company. My husband and I have moved many times over our 35 years of marriage and this was the MOST TRYING, EXPENSIVE MISTAKE we have made. They will tell you anything but not deliver. The phone representative is pleasant and tells you a "story'. once they get your deposit, load your things the fun starts. You are held randsom and no delivery until a credit card is charged for addtional fees. In our case we spent $2, 500 more than our contracted amount and wound up with many damaged pieces and worse, lost, never replaced items. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

GREENWAY VAN LINES and STATEWAY VAN LINESFRAUD

On October 10 2012, I was caught in a web of fraudulent moving enterprices which are one and the same group of people. I contacted a company called Statewide Vaqn lines to move my goods from Houston Texas, I send an evaluation of my goods with 7 pictures that clearly showed the good in the warehouse room with all items in display. statewide van lines gave me a contract to move the material I signed the contract clearly stipulating alln the terma and the cost. Two days later, Statewide called me and said their driver will be there to pick my goods up. When the driver showed up it was a company called Greeway van lines. They told my wife they were actually statewide even though their van label says "Greenway" Anyway they picked up the goods, they left 6 items behind stating that the items exceeded the space negotiated in my contract. They alswo requested my wife to pay them $100 in addition for "Overcharge" , which she paid. She also signed a piece of paper supposedly as a release "in case we are checked by" POLICE" during transportation. Three weeks later I got a call that our goods were ready to be delivered except there is a problem. Greeway Van lines , who now says they do not have anything to do with Statewide van lines says I owe them an aqdditional $3,100.00 over and above the contracted amount. greenway van lines want the money in cash right before delivery. I could not afford it , so as of the time of writing, Novemver 14, 2012, I still do not have my goods. Ssince then, Greenway has threatened to auction my goods if i do not paY UP. Greenway has faxed to me papers to show that my w2ife signed a "new" contract with them when they picked it up and they say the Statewide contract do not matter any more. The problem is all the "New Contract" is actually a forgery in which someone copied my wife's signature on the release form, into all these new papers. She did not even discuss contract or saw any piece of contract paper while Greenway picked up. We are at a stand off now and Greenway/Statewide Van lines is still holding my goods. We are forming a class action, or I will like to join one. These *** of the earth should be stopped before they hurt someoneelse.

Over charged for moving services

We contracted with Greenway Van lines to move us from Florence,SC to FResno, California for $3500. Our Plans changed due to a family emergency and we when back to Florence. Our furiture moved from Florence to Atlanta and then back again and we were charged for the full move to California. Greenway did not communicate with us at all except to let us know there would be no adjustment to our price. Very unprofessional company that I would not rehire to move a truckload of COW DUNG IN THE FUTURE. They stink as a company. Please do not use them for any moving services

Lied and added additional charges!

Greenway Van Lines has got to be the worse company in all of the moving industry. They tell you everything you want to hear until they have your deposit and items loaded onto their trucks then it all goes downhill from there. You have no way of knowing where you items are it seems as though they dont even know. They gave me a reasonable quote but added an additional amount that was almost twice as much as the original quote. I call only to be placed on hold for anywhere from 20-45 minutes. I was told last Wed. that a manager would call me regarding the additional charges and I have yet to recieve that phone call.

I gave Greenway Van Lines my security deposit in a move I scheduled with them last year. It was all downhill from there.

After constant lying, I decided to eat the deposit and NOT allow Greenway to take my things. It was an expensive decision because they did charge my credit card with a hefty cancellation fee...But it was worth it not to allow Greenway to handle my belongings...Trust me, this is the worst company you'll ever do business with.

WOW you people are a bunch of complaining babies nothing better to do then *** complain complain when knowing you stupit *** holes had more items and want the company to shi[p it for free you guys are a bunch of *** suckers that just like to complaint go get a *** real job and a *** life you morans

Please do not waste your time. When you call , they have a sweet representative named Judith to give you a competitive quote, and even promise delivery within a week.

At pick up, they load your stuff any kind of way to make sure you occupy more cubic space. Then charge for double. Then they claim they provide you with furniture pads to protect your stuff. But they have in tiny print that you will be responsible for the tape they will use to wrap the pads.

I was charged $100.00 worth of tape to wrap a few items. I would have bought them $10.00 worth of tape at Walmart. After they pick up your stuff, that is the end. Things start to change.

You will not get to talk to anyone at their office to give you an approximate date of delivery. When they choose to talk they act very rude and tell you that now you have contract. They are so ignorant, and act like they do not know that they are already in breach of the contract when they cannot deliver as promised.

Please let us join together and file a class action suit against this fraudulent company. This is truly a mover from "***"

Please, I am warning you to stay away from these very dishonest people doing business as movers. They tell you what you want to hear and once you are contracted you'll be taken to the cleaners.

This was the worst move of my life. Nothing compares to the disrespect and dishonest practices they use.

I just used Greenway Van Lines on 9/1/09 and had no problem at all, did you read the contract, did you have additional items "dontdoit" because of course like any other company if you have additional items not listed they will charge you. Nobody works for free.

Beside I had additional items and they charged me at the lock rate of the move. You are porbably just pissed off because they were right and you were wrong and you got charged the cancelation fee. READ READ READ THE CONTRACTS IT IS YOUR FAULT.

LEAVE GREENWAY VAN LINES ALONE THEY ARE AN ASWOME COMPANY AND TREATED ME WITH RESPECT. I LOVE GREENWAY AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARDS AND STEAL YOUR MONEY LIKE THEY DID TO ME!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Greenwayvanlines and unethical behavior

Hello, I have moved with greenwayvanlines and theu create a contract based on list of items, which I did. I have packed and dis assembled furniture and placed them in the boxes...but what do you know... They showed up with 2 individuals non-english speaking, minimal space, lack of blankets and anything else you can imagine that is not positive. theu sed baxes to supplement for blankets and charged me for them including labor!!!. I have contacted the company in dis belief but they vouched for quality and that they will deliver it undamaged. My contract was for list of items andthe driver stated that i am over cubic feet? It is like talking to ... (fill the blank) as they deny what the contract was. Also they charged - at this attempting - 2K more than agreed upon. Their explanation is that I have packed furniture...when I have listed items and they never talked that you can not pack in boxes, as it is cubic feet extra. Let them destriy what they can, pay $.6 per lb, and have your insurance company supplement for their ignorance, inability to provide good service and being uncapable of anything. I am not sure if there is a good company out there, but me recomendation is: pack all that is important to you and take it with you. Have them move and adhere to the contract and flip the card on to them. Also, if this happens to any of you - read up on UCC code and contract law. It will take longer - but I will not pay - refuse to pay, 50% of what my furniture cost ($15,000) have it damaged and have to process a claim with the insurance co, when you can cut your losses and repurchase. Pissed never returning customer.
