New Battery 2019 Kia Niro

Why would I need to pay for new battery for Kia niro 2019? I drive 60 miles everyday and was getting good mileage. But today I couldnt start my car to go to work. I called and chat the dealership at 3pm for two hrs and got no responds or call back from neither the service manager or anyone. I had to get a jump to drive me car to a close dealership. Then to be told I will have to spend 400 dollars on 2019 New Car and will not be able to get a rental car to get to work! Im so disappointed with Kia and how they are handle this. And here I am planning to pay off this car and buy the EV for my retirement car in 5 yrs. No way will I spend my hard earn money on a car that battery only last two hrs.
