On March 30th, 2024, my wife and I visited the dealership to buy a car. Initially, we wanted a vehicle with a wireless carplay and charger.
We looked at the Kia GT, but it was a little too expensive for us. Then, the salesman told us about the Kia GT line, which wasnt available at the store then but had all the features we wanted, except for paddle shifters and a lower engine capacity. After negotiating the price, we paid the initial amount and had us sign all the documents (we still didnt see the car at this point). They brought the car to the store at about 9:30 pm, and it had been 4 hours since we first visited.
Since it was pretty late, I didnt check the features and came home with the car. The following day, I realized that the car didnt have any features promised, so I called the salesman, and he asked me to visit the car on Monday. On Monday, April 1st, I took the car to the Kia store. The manager said I could use that car for two months and bring it back, and they would get me a model with the features I wanted at no additional cost to me.
I was in touch with the salesman as I was unhappy with this car. On the 21st of April, I was asked to get the car to the store, and they had a car that could be swapped with the current one. Surprisingly, I was told at the showroom that I could swap the car only after I paid two months' installments.
Why would I pay 2 months of installment for the car which I did not want? I raised multiple complaints, and no one has responded yet.
Preferred solution: Deliver the car that was promised to me.
User's recommendation: Find a better dealer

I am having a terible experience for 2 months now. am having a terible experience for 2 months now.Kia East sold me a broken car and asked it back 1 week later, forcing me to buy an expensive one.
And more: they billed me for the 2 vehicles and now I have a PAST DUE bill for the car they took back. I've been sending e-mails and visiting the agency many times and all those managers say is "we're taking care of it".
For now, what I have is my credit score negatively impacted by their mistake. This is a very disrespectful way to sell to your customers!
- Financial process poor and wrong
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified ReviewerTerrible customer service, bad business proactices
My car buying experience at Greenway Kia East in Orlando, Florida was one of the worst ever. The first time I came to the dealership a little over a month ago, I was told that they had a certain vehicle but when I got to the lot the vehicle was not there, after I was told numerous times it was.
There was absolutely no explanation....The Internet sales people we're not in the store, and there was a lot of misinformation. A lot of the vehicles were dirty and looked like they came straight out of the auction Without any type of inspection. They gave me some give certificates for my trouble. Coincidentally, they did not work.
I asked if they could replace them, since these were not working. I tried to give the dealership one more chance in the failed again. No one called me back regarding the bogus certificates, and when I went the website to redeem them, it said access denied. They had two vehicles there and neither one of them world what they were supposed to be.
The first vehicle is very dirty, and the engine sounded very bad. There was no car fax from the vehicle at all. The second vehicle seemed OK, but the radio it's not working at all, and there was a random cord sticking out of it that was looked odd. The sales attend it wasn't sure whether the car was straight of the auction and was not very knowledgeable.
Please steer clear of the dealership at all costs.
You are better off somewhere else. gosomewherePere else instead of this place.leaseP

Preferred solution: I want to get my gift certificates redeemed that are not working, and some sort of explanation as to why I keep getting this bad customer service.

You mentioned you signed all the documents. Did you READ any of the documents BEFORE you signed them?
All the features of the car would have been listed there! On the "documents" did you see all the FAKE FEES they are famous for? I'd be willing to bet YOU didn't even bother to READ what you signed and this is exactly why Greenway gets away with ALL THEIR FAKE FEES and the car wasn't what you wanted. Greenway is very well known in the business as one of the most trashy dealership chains in the business and you played directly into their hands by YOU not reading what you were agreeing to BEFORE you agreed to it.
Everybody knows the well deserved reputation of those in the car business and smart consumers WALK OUT instead of rewarding them for their fraud and deception. Sadly, you aren't one of those smart consumers.
