I closed out a CD and paid $25.00 transfer fee to do so. The banker struggled to process it, but she said she got it done.
After the money did not show up in the account, I called that bank (Discover) After going back a forth and running a tracer on the wire, I found out that it was sent over with no account number attached to the transfer.
It was just sitting in cyberspace. After finding that, it was immediately credited to my account.After PISSED consumer forwarded my complaint the branch manager called and refunded my transfer fee and apologized all over herself.
The representative said it would go out that day. After not showing up in my account by today the 29th I started to track it down.
After contacting both banks twice and getting the tracking # 2024****GMQFMP0101**** Discover Bank found the funds were sent without my account # on the information so it was just sitting there in cyberspace.
The branch location was 1520 W Lake st. Addison IL.
I find this level of service I had to pay for inexcusable and I am glad I did my due diligence in resolving your mistake.
I feel the least you can do is refund my $25.00 for me having to take my time and energy to resolve a problem you created.

Lies they lie
they say not to do unethical things but then promote employees who do them based off insane sales goals. for helocs some employees just add 90 thousand dollar protection plans without telling the customers.
