Being Harassed by Greenskeeper Collection Agency
Contracted with Greenlawn in 2022 based on outstanding reviews from Checkbook. During their 6 step treatment program, lawn was orange and had lots of crabgrass and weeds even with repeat treatments.
Therefore, we called and stated we were not going to pay for 2 of the treatments because lawn was terrible. Dan S from Greenskeeper stated the 2 treatment costs would be credited to our account. Only one treatment cost was credited. Now Greenskeeper has reported us to a collection agency (American Profit Recovery) and we are getting harassed by their collection agency.
We have tried to resolve the issue via the collection agency by disputing the debt by providing written documentation, dates, and times of written conversations via USPS certified mail.
Greenskeeper and the collection agency both refuse to dismiss the debt and are intent on harassing us for a lousy $279. Complaints have been filed with the federal Consumer Protection Finance Board, BBB, and the PA Attorney General.
