Verified Reviewer |Greensboro Nissan Forged My Name on a Revised Contract
- - Claims a 90-day deferment for a 2023 Maxima was promised but not honored, and a revised contract with forged signatures and DMV paperwork is alleged.
I visited this dealership on 01/01/24 to speak with a salesman concerning trading my 2020 Altima for a 2023 Maxima. At the time, Nissan was offering a 90-day deferment of the first month's payment on approved credit.
I adamantly stated that I would not go through with the sale unless I received the promotion. I was assured that I received the promotion and signed paperwork on 01/01/24. When I went to make my first payment on 04/01/24, I was told by Nissan Credit that I was a month behind! I quickly disputed this as I explained my contract clearly states that my payment was due on 03/31/24, and there is no way that my payment should be late.
The representative told me that there was a revised contract that was signed on 01/20/24, and that is the contract she was referring to. I told her that I had not been to the dealership to sign any paperwork after January 1st, 2024. I then asked her to send me a copy of the revised contract via email. When I received the email with the requested information, I confirmed what I already knew.
The signatures on the revised contract weren't mine. Needless to say, Greensboro Nissan then proceeded to lie and say that I was on camera. That was a lie. Then they said that I gave a representative permission to sign my name.
This also was proven to be a lie. I never knew of any changes to a contract, and if I had been contacted, I would have gladly given the Maxima back and driven my Altima off the lot. If that wasn't bad enough, paperwork that was sent to the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles was forged as well. I have been held liable for a contract that I never signed, and it is very unprofessional of this dealership and its owners, Hudson Automotive, to dismiss me as if I did something wrong.
The dealership committed fraud and should be held accountable for their criminal actions.
Please don't shop at any dealership that is owned by Hudson Automotive, and definitely do not purchase your new or used car from Greensboro Nissan. This dealership isn't to be trusted, and it gives the Nissan brand a bad reputation.
- No integrity
- Untrustworthy
Preferred solution: I would like to have them monetarily pay for the car they forged my name on.
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

- - Purchased a 2023 Nissan Altima in Greensboro, NC.
- - The loan was over $37k with 18% interest and included the trade-in.
I purchased a 2023 Nissan Altima from the Nissan Dealership in Greensboro, NC in late October 2023. The car loan that they offered me not only had me paying for the Altima, but also for the trade-in for the car which was a 2019 Nissan Sentra.
So I ended up with a loan that was over $37k with 18% interest which will basically have me paying over $65k for 7 years. This means that I will be paying for this car for a lot of years to come. This *** me off. And they won't do a thing to help me out with this bad deal.
DO NOT GO TO THAT DEALERSHIP!
They only want your money and to just get cars off their lot. They don't care about you, or your situation.
- Modern dealership
- Just want your money
- Do not work with you to resolve the bank loan
Preferred solution: Price reduction
User's recommendation: Avoid them at all costs
