Problems with payment

Refused service to a premature baby.

I know a family that that just brought home a new premature baby and couldn't afford to put propane in there bottle for heat. I attempted help these people so I decided to pay to have there propane bottle filled. I called Green's Blue Flame and explained I would like to pay to have their tank filed. Green's Blue Flame told me they only have one appliance (heater) so they were too busy to service this customer. Greed is the name of the game. I wasn't asking for anything free I was willing to pick up all the cost. They said NO

Green's Blue Flame Gas In Houston Dishonest

I have been with this company for numerous years and have had to deal with the owner on a couple of occasions. The father was the original owner and I never had a problem with him. When his son took over, however, their customer service went out the door. As a customer I am NEVER in the right. The owner is extremely rude when he deals with his "customers" and I'm stuck with them. I am supposed to receive a propane delivery every 3 months during the summer. I have had to go as long as 7 months and only after I called did they show up. In the winter they deliver once a month. I had a past due balance with them and asked for a 10 day extension to pay it. How convenient that NO ONE in the office said they talked to me (even though I had the girl's name and the date and time I called written down), consequently they shut off my service. I had to speak to the rude owner who, for all intents and purposes, called me a liar saying "People tell us they've called all the time". Every time I brought up their "less than" service he cut me off and even said "Look I'm trying to work with you here but if you're going to act like that...." Excuse me? How am I supposed to act when you accuse me of lying to you about a conversation I had with your staff who conveniently didn't note my account with an agreement she said she got from said owner? Because I promised to make the payment the next day and pay the current balance by the following week he turned the driver around but not before charging me a $75 reconnect fee for something that THEY were in the wrong for. I have no way of knowing how much they are actually putting in my tank because their slips are hand written. "Hmmm let's rip off this person for this many gallons today." The tank is older than 11 years and they've NEVER come out to repaint it. Still it sits, again after I've asked for it to be done, unpainted and ignored. This company is nothing short of dishonest and out for the almighty dollar.

i'm with you on this. they are rude and impossible to get along with


I have had nothing but the best service from Blueflame, 12 years ago,I started using the Houston local, they installed my tank in Hempstead roughly 53 miles from portal to portal never charging a delivery fee. We signed up for the route delivery and within 12 years I have never ran out came close one winter (heavy ussage) I called the lady on the phone was VERY nice we had product the next day while we were at work.

The bill they leave on your door has a read out (12 years ) of the gallons input.

As far as billing PAY your BILL, you usae it pay for it...... Their pricing is in line with others in the area..


I changed from Green's Blue Flame to Texas Star Propane and they have been the best company to work with. They give the BEST customer service and work with you as best as they can.

I recommend calling them to see if they can help you with your propane needs. 281-255-****
