Green Mountain Power

I just wanted to commend the guys who just left here after restoring my power. They have been working for four hours in the rain.

Oh my, how I appreciate it! Thank you so much.

Because of there lack of tree maintenance on the power lines we loose power every storm, But also because of this for the past 3 yrs we have GMP to take trees off the power line next to my driveway, they came and cut one of six, the guys could not touch them because it wasn't on there work order, so we called GMP and put another complaint of dead trees over the line that needed to be removed, yup work order made but no one ever came. Last storm power went out trees down on lines and yup top of tree in my yard hit the line then totaled my car.

GMP sends a guy and he starts laughing to us. I was here a yr ago and said they needed to be removed. Then said but Even now it will be a yr before a crew would be here. There are still big branches hanging over out yard where we park cars and kids play and it will be a yr, what does a child or person have to die to get trees removed that are dead and falling down.

If there are big storms GMP applies for emergency grants to repair lines that are broken because lack of maintenance. Why should the government or us have to give them money to fix a issue they created. If I don't put oil in my car and the motor blows what the manufacturer has to pay for a new motor. This needs to stop, because of GMP my car is totaled and ins.

Isn't paying of I have to come up with the money, I just put thousands in work to the car so it would last me a few more yrs. GMP just cost me 6k and I am disabled with a limited income can't replace the car or pay the remainder of this car, and now we still have to be carefull because if the trees still breaking of and falling.

Thank you GMP my kids are so happy that the car is gone and the yard they can't play in because your lack of tree maintenance. And then not much of a Christmas because we have to pay of a car and try buying another one and pay your over priced 2-300 a month electric bill.
