Should be renamed 'Greatest Skips Radio'
- Greatest Hits Radio has become borderline unlistenable in recent months.
- Signals are poor in North Nottinghamshire; repeated lines, skipped lyrics, and missing content.
I used to love Greatest Hits Radio. The music's spot on, the DJs are genuinely entertaining, and the competition's good. But in recent months, I'm sorry to say - it's become borderline unlistenable! (and getting worse)
I'm stuck with FM because the digital signal here in North Nottinghamshire is laughably poor and always has been.
Now, though, it's a mess. Dozens of times a day, I hear the same sentence repeated twice, song lyrics skipping like a broken vinyl record, and entire lines of dialogue or music just go missing mid-flow. It's like someone is editing the broadcast with a butter knife and a blindfold.
It's driving me mad. I've checked my setup, tried different radios, even moved the aerial around like I'm trying to contact aliens but it's clearly not on my end. Something's changed, and not for the better.
Sort it out, please. I want to keep listening, but I'm one glitch away from switching to silence.

Complaining about competition
When I receive a text message about cash register the text says REPLY WIN to the message but on the Radio its saying Text CASH.
SO WHAT IS IT.

Same records played everyday day all day! Far too many cheesy adverts and 60s sounding jingles!
Steve priestly is obsessed with repeating himself over n over about make me a winner all the time! GHR is more bothered about making money off phone calls etc to give money away than playing different records! Listener ratings obviously don't apply to this dreadful broadcast station!!
Pathetic and disgraceful! It needs serious review and changes made.

Dear Sir
Really LOVE to listen to the 'Greatest Hits Radio' with your fab presenters. Loose your signal intermittently and totally fussy onto M25. Drive a C4 Citroen car and as an example the radio picks up 'Radio Jackie' clearly (transmitter on top of Tolworth Tower).
Is there anything you can do to improve your signal.

- 0330 is free, but third-party routing charges £2, and I’ve been charged to enter.
To enter make me a winner competition the telephone number you give starting 0330 you say is within your normal calling rate with your service provider. This is incorrect as a 0330 number is free but because it’s through a third party this number is charged at £2. So whilst I’ve been entering your competition unbeknown to me I’ve been charged for taking part.

- I switched to another radio station.
- I will not pay for ad-free air time and you are losing listeners.
Fully appreciate advertisers pay for air time, however, there is only so many times a day a listener can tolerate the same advert.
The advert for Pizza has been played a ridiculous amount of times today. So much so I have had to turn to another radio station. It would also prevent me from buying their pizza so is counter productive.
I will not pay for ad free air time either.
Please be aware you are losing good listeners

(Echo) Alexa will not longer play GHR (Dorset). Insists on playing Nation Radio South
- Dorset Echo user says GHR was normal, then only GHR Somerset; after complaint it was restored, but now Nation Radio South plays when asked for GHR.
I live in Dorset and listen to GHR using the Echo (Alexa) speaker. It was normal until recently.
Then would only provide GHR Somerset. I complained and maybe as a result was restored.
Now it plays Nation Radio South when asked for GHR. Can you rectify, please?

The station doesn’t have any proper real DJ’s the playlist is on a cycle, & songs are not randomly selected. Unfortunately, a lot of these stations are going this way.
