Quality of GreatCall Phones

We have used GreatCall for years. The biggest problem is they only offer one brand of phones. Alcatel. I guess the smart phone is OK but the flip phone is a piece of junk. My husband only uses a flip phone and hates their phone. He now uses A T & T. They should offer other brands of phones and let the customer choose the best they can afford. Customer service is ok most of the time.

my plan was $22.99 per phone when I first signed up, later there was a change which dropped charge to $!4.99 when the new plan came up I was grandfathered in at the $22.99 and was never notified of the reduce cost. I had sprint for 17 years. My last two phones were i phones. I still use my iphone 5 at home, using wifi. I got jitterbug for calls. I'm saving money but in order to do so, one must make sacrifices. The phones are cheap junk and more complicated than i phones. However ill deal with it until i had enough and I'll switch.

I have had my smart jitterbuy phone for 2 months and hate it. Grandkids cant understsnd it, the help line cant understsnd it. It will not let me text certain people it will not let some calls come though & ring tone to low even on hi. My best friend has never been able to call me it will not go though. Some times it will text other times it says no server, battery will not kast a day.
