Adobe Creative Cloud Ate My Files
by PissedConsumer829187 #829187
After spending the morning editing multiple packaging files and sending to our printer- 3 of the Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud files became corrupt and blank. When finally reaching a tech support person - she blamed it on my files then admitted that you cannot save creative cloud files OVER A NETWORK without risk of corruption.
You have to copy files to your desktop and then move files manually. What ***. After charging what they charge, to not let people know that their work is in danger is negligent. Adobe is letting down the hard working designers that have made them successful.
And not one suggestion as to how to rescue files- just " you have to rebuild your files. " Suggest staying with your old Crestive Suite programs- even though they will find a way to make them buggy as well.

Do not buy an Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud membership unless you are going to use Adobe religiously. It is an expensive monthly membership fee and if you cancel your membership early as I did because I just wasn't using it.
They charge you the subscription fee for the balance of the time you have left on it. Twelve month subscription, cancel after three months, well you do the math, that is what you are on the hook for.
Buyer beware. If you mush have Adobe Illustrator You should purchase the software that way you will have something to show for it after shelling out your hard earned cash!!!!
