We ordered an outdoor umbrella from Grand Patio, It came with a 1 year warranty. Color faded badly in less than 9 months so red is now streaky, looks like a dirty circus tent...

When I contacted them they first took a month to respond to 4 written requests for warranty service or a refund. Sent photos of the terrible looking streaked umbrella...Then they indicated that the manufacturer said it was partly our fault, the umbrella must have gotten wet and closed when wet.

(REALLY, isn't the purpose of an OUTDOOR umbrella to protect from sun and rain...)

The top which is not the folded part is also faded, but they stopped responging when I pointed that out... Bottom line is they do not want to stand behind a warranty they stated on their website, and I am pissed and will pursue under the Consumer Propection Act, a full refund not instead of a replacement umbrella as I don't like to deal with shady companies,,,
