Grand miramar scam!!!!

Grand Miramar Puerto Vallarta Grand miramar is a scam, if I had know this a year ago I would never purchased a timeshare with them. I'm thinking of taking legal action against this company; but doing it myself along is probably not the best idea. If you have been taken advantage of by miramar please visit my site and contact me. If you have been scammed by miramar the best thing that you can do at this point is to contact profeco and also your credit card. Hopefully they will be able to help you.

If you have any further information on how I can get my money out of GM I would appreciate it. I did a buy back and they want 28.5%VAT and 16.0% IVA tax upfront to be re-imbursed on the rear end of the deal.

I did not give them anymore money.

I am going to file a complaint with PROFECO.

Did you have any luck with them? My email address is slmorgan0923@***.com

Thanks, Stephanie

I signed a contract with Grand Miramar and gave them $27000 and sent Diamond the $2500 they requested for escrow to sell my other time shares. We tried to cancel but were told we would owe $31000 to Diamond for loss of commission and title search fees.

We were told many things that never happened.

We were also told about the profit sharing but they just wanted more money to get that started. This scam is all over the internet but we found out too late as well.

We find ourselves in the same position (wish we had checked out complaints before we went).

What has happened since August. Any advice you can give us? Thank you.

My wife and I signed a contract with Grand Miramar and subsequently decided to cancel it because we determined that the entire agreement was most likely a scam.

In return for us purchasing five weeks from them, Grand Miramar promised to resell several timeshares we already owned at a significant profit to us. They also promised us a stream of guaranteed income for ten years by remarketing our Grand Miramar weeks. We later discovered that they had made similar promises to many other purchasers, but have never delivered. Once we learned about this history of unfulfilled guarantees, we decided to cancel the agreement as quickly as possible.

We acted within 5 business days and went through a cancellation process that involved Grand Miramar, Mexico’s Consumer Protection office (Profeco), and our credit card provider. We procured a legal order from the Profeco to rescind the contract and have received a full credit on our Visa card.

The Profeco has a dedicated office to assist non-Mexicans who are already outside the country, the Conciliation a Extranjeros. You can reach them by email at extranjeros@*** or by phone at one of the following numbers:
