i made a reservation two days ago for three connected rooms because i have my handicaped mum and three childen. after waiting for 4 hours we got two connected rooms and my mothed had to stay in a different floor. we just checked in finally. i am so angey but what can i do. Company annual dinner

Our company would like to set up 2015 annual dinner in Hyatt Shenyang, China. We have already book a date and your sales mgr also agrees. After 1 day, your sales mgr told that your hotel needs to change our company booking into another different dinner room, due to there is another company whose total expense is higher than us. As an 5 start hotel, it is really unacceptable that only because of the total amount that you can change your promise. We will never book a room or activity in your hotel anymore. We all go on job interviews and are not hired, despite our experience and qualifications. It happens to everyone. No big deal. But when you are personally disrespected in an interview by someone who forgets that most employees start as clients, something has to be said. I was called for am interview at the Hyatt Grand in Denver, showed up fifteen minutes early And was not greeted until a half an hour after my interview was scheduled. The manager came out, introduced himself and led me to a room where he launched a barrage of confrontational questions at me, looking for any reason to be rude and nasty. I could tell he was homophobic and had no intention of hiring me. I wasted an hour of my time to be treated with disdain and contempt in an interview that lasted at MOST, four minutes. Not only did Hyatt lose a great employee but they also lost the business of a frequent traveler.

So many posts on this site are ridiculous, poorly written complaints by people who I believe probably have difficulty dressing themselves. So someone posts what seems to me to be a reasonable complaint based on their experience and they still get attacked.

You have a large chip on your shoulder---most likely because you realize you have zero skills and are unemployable. Thus, you have to blame someone else for your deficiencies.


First of all how would he know you were ***? Stop using your sexual orientation as an excuse.

Perhaps he had other things to do which is why he took longer to interview you. They probably had other reasons not to hire you and you automatically assume it is because of your sexual orientation.

Grand Hyatt Jordan Amman Rennovation

I resided for more about a month at the Grand Hyatt Jordan Amman until I could take it no longer!!!! The hotel was going through a renovation program and at the same time the waiters/ service are very poor in taking orders. The room service team would knock daily on your door (even if you had the no disturb sign outside) and ask if you needed any extras i.e water or towels on a daily basis. They made they stay feel very uncomfortable and insecure. Now to the main point, the hotel is going through renovation 24 hours 6 days a week. Instead of completely closing the hotel, it is part operating. Twice I was woken up by drilling noises in the early hours of the morning to my anger!!!! Not only that but retuning from a hard days work to the hotel to relax the drilling would be even louder. I strongly would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed in Four Seasons in Amman, offering a better service and superior rooms. If you wont to enjoy your accommodation DON'T stay in Grand Hyatt Amman!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hyatt---bad customer service

I booked a four-night stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego through their web site. I thought that the price advertised per night was set, but when I arrived and had my debit/credit card swiped I was informed that I would be paying an extra $200 "for incidentals," In case I decided to park (I didn't have a car), or to buy anything from my hotel room. I had them to remove the charge and was told it was all done. When I checked out of the hotel 4 days later, I was electronically sent a bill that seemed fine. However, hours later after having my debit/card declined at a restaurant, I called my bank and was informed that Hyatt put an $1,800 charge on my card! $1,000 more than my price! It subsequently caused me to go into overdraft and I had no money. The "manager" I supposedly talked to when I called the hotel to clear things up, was not a real manager after all, and after 10 minutes of arguing with him he suggested that he get the manager! He was so rude and even suggested that I may have had made charges while at the hotel that I may have forgotten about. $1,000 worth. And this was after he told me that the same issue happened to another customer that same day. With the same exact amounts of money. The real manager finally comped an additional night, but the customer service I recieved before I spoke to him was horrendus and accusatory.
