Storing passwords in plain text!

I had to reset a password today for an account at LetsGet.Net which is operated/designed by Granbury Solutions. To my surprise I didnt get a password reset link in my email - THEY EMAILED ME MY PASSWORD IN PLAINTEXT. This means they don't store hashes of your password, THEY STORE YOUR PASSWORD. I.E. Their employees could see your email, password, and SURELY your credit card information. You know who else is going to get their eyes on this info? Everyone on the dark web once they get breached.

This is a Technology company claiming to be with EXPERTS and TECHNOLOGY GURUS who do ECommerce and store your personal information. They shouldnt need told to hash passwords, this is IT Security 101. I seriously regret giving them my credit card details.

Tried to reach out to them by phone but you get dumped into a phone tree which doesnt give you a clear option for this site. Would have to leave a voicemail on an extension that goes to a different product/service.

Only email available is a Sales email.

Hooked on the annual fees, for what?.

I have a contact with them as a provider for a franchises I purchased. The systems is about 5-6 years old. I have replaced all but 1 of the four terminals. They downloaded updates to the system that crippled my business for days. They gave me an adjustment on my quarterly pay. Incidentally I pay $3600 annual for support, software only. I have had reoccurring issues that are explained away. They dismiss the issues and try to sell me a new system.

Overall I'm hooked to the annual fees that seem to not ever satisfy the problems and add value. Little company communication on making their system better.

Check around before you buy from these folks. There are others out there that will probably work better at less, and give some service.

Charged me $700 for no work done

I contacted GRS in late March about downloading My Diamond Touch software onto the existing hardware I had. I was told by Jordan that this could be done with no problem for $600-$700 the next week.

I didn't hear from them for a couple of weeks. Called back and Jordan was no longer there. Luke told me it would be $800. I told him I was quoted $600-$700 by Jordan.

He talked to his superior and they agreed to do it for $700, but they needed my debit card information now. I gave it to them. $700 was taken out of my account the following day. I was then told it would be 3 weeks before Aurther, the tech could come out.

I told them I didn't like paying for work BEFORE it was done. I was told that they were having trouble collecting on outstanding invoices and this is how it is now done. Aurther came to perform the work, but was not able to do it. I was later told by Luke that Gene (the Vice Pres.) had decided that the price would now be $1400 or I could get my money back.

I waited a while to decide if it was worth double what I had been quoted. I decided not to move forward and asked for my money back. I was then told by Luke that Gene had said I would receive credit with them instead of a refund. I don't need credit with them if I'm no longer in need of their services.

I've called other POS companies to see what could be done. I finally called to speak with Tom Bronson about the situation.

He listened, said he would talk to his people and get back with me. That was October.
