GETTING SCREWED OVER...
I have to say from the start these people acted in an unethical and shameful manner. They had a used car that I wanted.
It had been on their lot for over 2 months and their ad said, because of that they MIGHT be flexible on the price. I made a low offer, they never responded as if they were insulted.
The car was advertised at $14,499. I then raised my offer to $14,000, they came back with a $15,499, then a Doc fee of $800 and a sales tax which I understand is paid in the county were the car is registered. I came back and said I'll pay your $14,500 if you drop the $800 Doc Fee, I get a notice 2 days later that I missed the saved car, it has been sold.
Why they ran over me I have ho clue, maybe I shouldn't have told them I was a cash buyer.
Not sure why these people acted they way they did, I equate it to a bunch of 8 year olds playing in a sandbox, maybe I wanted the car too badly and thought they could hold me up... These guys give used car people a bad name...I
