BULLING AT THE GOVERNMENT OF ALBERTA
YES I WAS BULLYIED TOO, NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK UP UNLESS YOU ARE A DIFFERENT CULTURE, MICHELE EVANS IS A FAKE, PRENTENDS TO HELP YOU, HA HA HA, LOOK AT WHAT SHE IS TEACHING HER CHILDREN, AND EVERYONE SUPPORTS HER BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID OF HER AND MOST OF LOSING THEIR JOB. MICHELE SILENTLY COVERS UP BULLY'S SO SHE CAN SAY SHE HELPED AND SO THE BULLY WALKS FREE, WHO ARE YOU REALLY MICHELE, IS THIS WHAT YOU ARE TEACHING YOUR CHILDREA, SCARY TO KNOW, THEY WILL BECOME JUST LIKE YOU. !!! ALBERTA HEALTH –AN UNHEALTHY PLACE TO WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF ALBERTA
Let’s begin by Reading Alberta Health’s Mission Statement below: Health’s mission is to set policy and direction to improve health outcomes for all Albertans, support the well-being and independence of Albertans, and achieve a high quality, appropriate, accountable and sustainable health system. Did you notice the capturing words to entice you into thinking this is an ethical, sound work place, words like “well-being, independence etc. So, if you are a current or prior employee of Alberta Health you may agree with what I am about to share with you but are too afraid to speak out in case of losing your job. Also, I found it interesting how upper Management, namely, Michele Evans, Executive Director of the Pharmaceutical and Health Benefits Branch and Janet Davidson, Deputy Minister of Health had covered up a particular Manager’s wrongdoing – bullying/harassing. Executive Director, Michele Evans can be very convincing to make one think she cares for your “WELL BEING”? I am about to share with you a very sad unfortunate encounter an employee had while working at Alberta Health; as promised I will only brief on the circumstances as not to expose the identify in fear of uncompromising false accusations that may arise from the ever so rocky avenging management. While in the employ at Alberta Health, this employee had undergone some serious bullying and harassing moments by one of the Master Bully Managers for a number of months. Bully behaviour that included such things as swearing, objects thrown at, degradation, humiliation, and basically made an object of ridicule while being setup for failure. When this employee reached out to the Union for help, the Union did what they could but their hands were tied because this employee contractual situation. At a loss of where to turn, this employee contacted Alberta Health’s Deputy Minister, Janet Davidson for a resolution. Honourable Davidson did not do much except entertain acknowledgment of the complaint and turned it over to the Executive Director to take care of. In turn, Michele Evans, Executive Director or Pharmaceuticals and Health Benefits Branch, on the pretense of helping, only swept the matter under the rug. Executive Director , Michele Evans appeared to be notorious for manipulating the situation in protecting the unethical conduct of her Bully Manager; she had no hesitation in exonerating this Bully by voicing to the employee it was their own fault for being bullied, her actual words were, “you invited and provoked” the bully and are now getting what you deserve. It is amazing how these Public Servants in such high positions are to be breathing the living attributes of ACCOUTABILITY, INTEGRITY AND RESPECT. And to think our Tax dollars are paying for their wages to conduct themselves in such a DIRTY manner. You are probably wondering what happened to this person, well in the end, this employee lost their employment, their reputation and dignity because of sticking up for their rights and speaking out against Bully behaviour. You may also like to contact Mr. Peter Watson, who can share his views on Bully behaviour as he too suffered Bullying during his tenure with the Government of Alberta. (Different Ministry) What can YOU learn from this? If you are employed with the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Health, think very carefully before you try to exercise your rights to work in a bully/harassment free workplace. Repercussions are not pleasant. You could be an object of hatred, your reputation will be damaged and most of all you will lose your job. Good Health to you! Cordelia Chase
