Verified ReviewerResolved: Will not refund my money even thought the Seller cancelled the transaction
- - Funds were wired to a vehicle dealer; there was no pickup contact.
- - Seller canceled the sale; Gov Deals has not issued a refund after 23 days.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Wire transfer was finally refunded to me after 44 days. Do not buy from non-government sellers on this site.
After many successful transactions from gov agency's, I purchased from a vehicle dealer. After wiring the funds, got zero response from seller to pick vehicle up.
Seller then cancels the transaction and now 23 days later Gov Deals will still not issue a refund. Seller has "Sold" same vehicle 2x more times
- Access to government assets
- Non government sellers are now allowed on the site
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Only purchase from genuine government agencies, scammers have infested this site

Verified ReviewerPaid them for car 30 days later no Title !!!!
- - Bought from Fairmont Towing on GovDeals for $9,337.50; the car was in Sanford, not Jacksonville, tow cost $2,800, and no title or help as of May 1.
On March 31st I bought a car from Fairmont Towing on Govdeals Auction Site. I wired them $9,337.50.
I spoke with Josh the the owner of Fairmont before bidding he told me the car was in Jacksonville Fl just 3 miles off of Rt 95. I spoke with at least 3 people the week I bought the car making arrangements to pick up the car that Saturday. I had an appointment to meet a lady named Grace at 10 am. They assured me the title would be present and the car would have a temporary tag so I could drive it to Maryland.
I was at my house in the Keys and a friend of mine who was heading back to New York gave me the ride 7 hours to Jacksonville to pick up the car. When I got there the car wasn't there it was 126 miles away in Sanford Fl. I had gotten there 2 hours early so I called an Uber and $200 and some change I was in Sanford. The car was there but no one showed up to get me the keys.
Finally after calling all 4 numbers I had for different people at Fairmont at least 5 times each. The Owner Josh called me back and told me the lady Grace who was supposed to meet me couldn't and that he was trying to get someone to come out and give me the keys. I asked about the Promised Temporary Tag and he said that there was no one at the Sanford Location that could issue the tag. Someone did come and give me the keys and wished me luck.
It cost me $2800 to have the car towed to the Keys instead of driving it to Maryland as planned. Today is May the 1st. I still have not received the title and they have stopped answering their phone when I call and I get No Reply to Texts !!! This is Supposed to be a Licensed Florida Dealer and Still No Title.
Govdeals Auction Site has taken 3 reports from me and has done nothing to help me, Even Though They Collected The Money !!!
I would NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE BUY ANYTHING FROM FAIRMONT TOWING AND STORAGE OR PURCHASE ANYTHING ON THE GOVDEALS AUCTION SITE !!! ONE MONTH NO TITLE AND NO HELP OR COMMUNICATION FROM EITHER COMPANY.
User's recommendation: NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON THE GOVDEALS AUCTION SITE OR FROM FAIRMONT TOWING AND STORAGE
