4 Shitake Mushrooms for $28 and a Big Effort
I bought the home Shitake mushroom kit from Gourmet Mushrooms and Mushroom Products http://www.gmushrooms.com/ . I paid almost $29 with shipping for the kit.
I tended to the "log for 2 weeks as instructed (it was pretty time consuming) only to get 4 mushrooms. The company replied that the results were as expected! Don't believe their advertising or the pictures of grand mushroom growth on their (or a natural) log! You will get something like 4 mushrooms for 2-3 weeks of attention and $28.
In additon, the "log" is really ugly to look at too! Stay away from this site!
