These people have some very rude arrogant attitudes..they act as if people don't fall on hard times...I paid almost $3,000 to get my car back and they talk to you so ugly...I am out of work with no pay due to a job related incident...I have disability ins on my car but have been fighting with my dr to fill out the forms....these ppl knock on my door at 5 am hooked up to my car I gave up my keys ...I have severe acute bronchial asthma and as I was getting stuff out of my car one of the guys lights up a cigarette. ..instant asthma attack..had to ask him not to smoke ...no care for people at all...then I call to see about getting my car and the heifer talks to you like you are *** of the earth...im sorry everybody isn't rich ....and people do fall on hard times..FYI heifer that answered the phone..you are not better then anybody

Pathetic *** thieves....lack of customer service, even after paying to get my car out...my car had black marks in the interior, smells like smoke, had to pay $85 dollars for my personal belongings in a freaking garbage bag...pathetic excuse for human beings!

These people broke into my garage to re over a car. I am filing a lawsuit against the company and its driver.
They are rude and they are liars. Had I been awake with my gun it would have ended badly, but you do not enter anyone's home to recover anything.
Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience with Gotcha Towing. I too am a repossession agent (not for gotcha towing) and I pick up cars all day/night. Fyi; its beyond illegal for a repo agent to enter your home/garage or anywhere else on YOUR PROPERTY to pick up your car for repossession.

Bad attitudes
our car got picked up a week ago. the way I had the car which is how I always parked it....
facing the house. apparently they couldn't get to it. so they hooked it from the side and drugged it. there is marks in my yard from where they did so.
my husband found out who got the car and called them moments later. he asked nicely if they could stop so he could get our stuff out (kids carseats, pocket book, id, ssc, bc, my daughters surgery info, etc.) the told him that he wasn't stopping for *** and my husband told him that if there was any damage done to the car that they would pay for it. and the man driving the wrecker cussed my husband out. me and my in laws went to gotcha towing and paid 100 dollars to get out stuff out.
I wasn't allowed near the car. so my father in law had to get it out. I guess the owner pulled up and cussed everyone out for messing with the car. when I got home with some of the stuff I found out that a pack of cigs, my husbands check book, wedding bands and 150 dollars was missing...
when I called and asked them about they was like no one messed with anything in ur car.....
well I think I would know what was in my car.... highly pissed.

GOTCHA DRIVER DAMAGED OUR CAR
GOTCHA TOWING AND RECOVERY IS A RIPOFF!! THE EMPLOYEES AREN'T PLEASANT TO SPEAK WITH OVER THE PHONE AND IN PERSON THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND TREATS PEOPLE AS IF THEY NO BODY.
DURING THE TOW OF OUR CAR THE CAR WAS DAMAGED BY THE DRIVER OF GOTCHA AND WHEN WE BROUGHT THE DAMAGE TO THEIR ATTENTION THEY ACTED AS IF THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT. I BECAME ANGRY AND BECAUSE OF HOW WE WERE BEING TREATED AND I CALLED THE SHERIFF OUT TO HELP CLARIFY WHAT WE COULD DO TO PURSUE THIS MATTER AND I HAVE REPORTED THIS COMPANY TO THE BB BUREAU AND I AM GOING TO LET EVERYONE THAT I CAN TO DO ALL POSSIBLE TO AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY WILL DAMAGED YOUR CAR AND GET AMNESIA WHEN YOU BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION.

TOOK THE WRONG CAR!!!
I WAS AT THE BEAUTY SALON MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS. WELL I NEEDED TO GO TO THE STORY BUT WHEN I WENT OUTSIDE TO MY SURPRISE, MY CAR WAS MOVING BACKWARDS WITH NO ONE DRIVING, THE LIGHTS WERE OUT THEN I RECOGNIZED THE LIGHTS ON A WRECKER/ IT WAS PULLING MY CAR.
IMMEDIATELY I BEGIN JUMPING UP AND DOWN AND YELLING HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING WITH MY CAR. THE DRIVER DIDN'T STOP AND HE WAS DRIVING. RECKLESSLY. WELL I WENT INSIDE THE SALON AND HAD SOMEONE TO CHASE THE WRECKER.
WELL WE FOUND HIM STILL SPEEDING/AND DRIVING RECKLESSLY. WE TRIED TO BLOCK HIM BUT HE JUST KEPT ON RIDING. MY FRIEND STOPPED THE CAR AND I JUMPED OUT ALMOST GOT HIT, BUT HE STOPPED AND I ASKED WHERE WAS HE GOING WITH MY CAR AND HE SAID MAM I GOT THE WRONG CAR. HE DIDN'T APOLOGIZE OR ANYTHING HE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE SALON WHERE HE RETRIEVED IT FROM AND KEPT IT MOVING STILL DRIVING RECKLESSLY.
HE WOULD NOT EVEN STOP WHEN I TRIED TO TALK TO HIM. I WAS UPSET BECAUSE HE DIDN'T CHECK THE CAR VIN NUMBER. TAG OR ANYTHING BEFORE HE SNATCHED IT. I MADE A POLICE REPORT BUT THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THEY COULD DO IF THE COMPANY DIDNT DAMAGE ANYTHING.
I COULD HAVE MAD A BOGUS REPORT BUT I DIDN'T. BUT I BELEIVE MY BLOOD PRESSURE WENT UP, I WAS EMBARRASSED. I COULDN'T THINK STRAIGHT FOR A LONG PERIOD.
I COULDN'T SLEEP, I WAS UP ALL TIMES OF THE NIGHT CHECKING TO SEE WAS MY CAR STILL THERE. AND SEEING MY CAR BEEN PULLED AWAY FOR NOTHING WAS HEART BREAKING.
This company picked up my daughter's car. She was behind in payments so it got repo'd.
They told her she could pick it up the next morning right here in our town where she bought it. They lied big time !!! It was taken to a location two hours drive away. She's been in contact with them daily for three days now and today she went to get her car only to be told she had to make an appointment to get it.
This is after driving all that way.
Plus she never actually found the place and when they would NOT take her calls I called from a different number and was greeted with a real smart assed attitude from the guy on the other end. This is a VERY BAD business to have to deal with.

They tore my car up when they towed it and won't talk to me about fixing it. I have contacted my lawyer, I will see them in court.
Horrible customer service. Would never recommend them to anybody................
Don't trust them, don't let them touch your car. Make copies of the paperwork and video the scene when you get there.
