Unauthorized charge and refusal to escalate issue

AI Highlights
  • - Withdrawn in advance but charged $177 on Aug 1.
  • - August had five weeks, not four per policy.
  • - A makeup class was offered while out of state.

I'm extremely disappointed with how this swim school handled my billing and withdrawal process. I notified them in advance that I would be submitting a withdrawal form for my daughter.

Despite that, I was charged $177 on August 1st. When I asked why, I was told August had five weeks. However, their own 30-day notice policy only covers four weeks, not five. I was then offered a makeup class, even after clearly stating that I would be out of state and unable to attend.

That solution made no sense and felt like a way to avoid addressing the real issue. When I asked to escalate the matter, the manager rudely told me there was no one above her and claimed not to know how to contact corporate. I've since tried reaching out to corporate myself and have heard nothing back.

This experience showed me that they do not value customer service or accountability. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

If you submitted and have proof of the withdrawal form being sent July 31 or earlier, they owe you money.
