Poor quality and customer service

This place is ridiculous ! We have owned 4 brand new travel trailers / 5th wheels from 4 different dealerships never had any issues or problems until we purchased our 5th unit a brand new 2018 forest river motor home form golden gait at the end of April this year . We used the camper twice a total of 6 nights on the second vacation we had to leave in the middle of the night because the slide was not sealed right and it leaked water our mattress the floor the walls pillows blankets all soaked. ( On Aug. 5th ) We did not get home till 2 am we have a 6 and 8 year old who did not understand why we had to leave in the middle of the night! We called golden gait on Aug. 6th talked to Steve in service I explained the situation to him and told him we were bringing the RV that day and he told me well that’s fine but we can’t get to it for 2 weeks very rude acted like the situation was no big deal... we get there and Steve and Zack the service manager go out with us to look over the RV ... for a "manager" Zack never said much doesn’t tell us anything just nods or says ok . So we are told they will call us with in a day or so, they don’t my husband has to call them over and over they all tell us they will have the owner call us but he doesn’t so then we talk to Patrick who tells us it is inside being worked on and the owner would call us ... days go by we still don’t hear from the owner so we drive up there ( an hour drive ) our camper is outside and has not been worked on ! Our sales guy that sold it to us Bill acted like it was no big deal to have a brand new rv that now has water damage ! A few days later I get on Facebook on Aug. 16th and I like every negative review .. then a lady contacted me I explained everything and she had the owner Tim call my husband the next day he tells us they aren’t going to wait on warranty and they will fix everything there themselves .. so my husband drives back up there a few days later on Aug. 20th to make sure they are working on it and they had ripped out the insides of the slide but still had the mattress and everything in there that had gotten wet we told them to please get that stuff out before it mildews .. so yesterday Aug.27th they call to let us know that they are going to drive it 700 miles away to the manufacture to get it fixed so they want to put 1400 miles on a new camper to take it to the place that didn’t build it right in the first place oh and they also want us to drive an hour to come get all of our belongings out easier said than done we our camper is pretty full. It also has previous damage that no one showed or told us about before we bought it, we found out a week after we bought it when a body shop called us wanting us to set up an apt. to fix a bubble that is on the side that had already been worked on once before we got it, golden gait acted like it was no big deal that they sold it to us with no knowledge of this. FYI if you google bubble in fiberglass on RV everything leads you to water damage! This place is BS we truly feel like we have gotten screwed and everyone there acts like this is no big deal ! Water is a huge deal and the RV is still outside ! And the fact that it is brand new and falling apart is ridiculous ! I will try to post pics under this review! We feel like most of the people we have talked to have lied to us. I am sure if any of them were in our position they would also feel screwed over. We lost money on the night we had to leave, we have had to cancel another vacation for labor day, we are paying the payment on something we cant even use, we lost expensive pillows and sheets and more than likely will have to cancel or next vacation for our daughters 9th birthday that we have booked with other campers! We have went to the beach camping every year for her! I would never do business with this place again buying the RV has been one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made!
