Horrible business practices
Still charged me to terminate the lease and threatened to ruin my credit if I didn't do and pay what they wanted. HORRIBLE company and all out thieves!

This company will bury deep in a 48 page lease agreement, and lot of unsavory terms that take advantage of a lot of smaller businesses. They are looking to make boatloads and are okay with being deceptive about leasing rather than purchasing equipment, and unless you have a legal team in house or a full accounting department that can pour over a 48 page agreement, you will miss some of these things.
A 48 page agreement should tell you plenty.
I recently changed companies and my new agreement was 6 pages. They have had to revise their agreement because of all the issues they have had in court and continue to operate in a way that gets new legislation passed, then they have to adjust. I DO NOT understand how so many big companies have done business with them.
They will mess you up, take you for a lot of money, have zero sympathy even when dealing with something like coronavirus outbreak that has led to hurting businesses, and they will get their money.
They also changed names to a new entity (formerly Capital A Leasing), yet nothing changes in their agreements. As a customer, I had no say so in the company change, I just had to go with it.

We were using their equipment, it broke down. They said to send it back, which we did.
Never got a reply or replacement.
We now have and other company, but Golden Eagle keeps billing us.
Now after a year they want an extra $500 or will take legal action. We have paid them thousands of dollars already for unsatisfactory equipment.

They are sending 10 day demand letters to my daughter threatening to sue her and she was just an employee. My business closed two years ago and we tried on numerous occasions to contact this Leasing company and no one answered or returned our calls. We tried to return the equipment but no answer from these crooks.
I owned the company and contacted them to give them my information so they could BUG me instead........No call back no answer.
These guys have been ripping off small businesses...
These guys have been ripping off small businesses since the early 90’s. They have been changing their name every time they get sued. Use at your own risk!

I am not shocked to see the same story over and over about this company...I made some changes in my credit card processing today and while talking with my banker, I found that Golden Eagle has been charging my account for the last six years $20.35 per month for equipment that was returned. Of course when I called them they claimed they never received the equipment...they were rude and quick with answers and it was apparent they do this often.
It is now up to me to prove they received the return equipment...what a SCAM. They are clearly taking advantage of small business owners.

Received letter after 10 years of equipment return!
Machine was rented from this company and RETURNED 10 YEARS AGO from the company that also went bankrupt and all of a sudden they send a letter that our lease is in trouble and they want over $300. Upon calling the number on the letter and speaking with Chasity Castro whom was very uncorporative and would not connect me with her upper management she states they have no record of return (FROM 10 YEARS AGO)!!!!!!!
NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY CONTACTED -as she claims- the credit bureau as well. Why have I not received ANY kind of correspondence over the 10 year period about this? NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY WANT MONEY?!?!?
YES- this company is a SCAM!!!! I will also be contacting the credit bureaus to dispute if there is in fact anything there and reporting a complain to the better business bureau!
Horrible concept of scamming a closed business!
Signed a 48 month lease with golden eagle leasing for a clover credit card processing machine. We recently closed the business for good and they want $3,000 contract buy out for a machine I will no longer be using! What a scam!!!
Golden Eagle is a scam.
My corporate business account has been involved with golden eagle credit card processing through a lease that was termed over 5 years ago and the terminal was mail back as directed. My new IT specialist from an independent bank loaned me his terminal as a replacement and he did not charge me for the service.
I now find from my bank statements they golden eagle has been charging my account $34.34 * 12 months x 5 years as verified buy my old email address now discarded for five years.
Besides being insolent on the phone and generally uncooperative what Golden Eagle needs according to all I've read in criticism is a good class action suit. This country does not need another fraudulent example of democracy working at cross-purposes two good business practices.

We are experiencing prolonged billing for equipment we returned at least 6 years ago!! There seems to not be anyone available or qualified to do take care of this. Very sad and disappointed to be ripped off so unfairly for so long:-(

Golden Eagle and North American Bancard are AWFUL companies!!!!
Like many of the other complaints about this company I too had entered into a contract with a credit card processing (North American Bancard) company that worked with Golden Eagle (I was not aware of that). We needed to update our terminal because it lacked the memory nessecary to run credit cards.
To update we spent over $200 and was told I was purchasing this machine. My business switched credit card processing and at no point during canceling was I told to call golden eagle about machine. For a year I have been making $33 a month payments on a machine I have not been using. I made countless attempts to contact North American Bancard about how to return machine and no one ever returned my calls.
Finally I found a number for golden eagle on this website. I was greeted by a rude man who criticized my efforts and gloated that golden eagle is the largest leasing company in the world. He continually cut me off, not allowing me to finish talking.
It is appalling that I have spent a minimum of $600 dollars for a machine I haven't used in over a year. Golden Eagle and North American Bancard are scamming {{redacted}}.

has been charging - unduly - a monthly fee for "software leasing". My wife managed credit card accounts, did not pay attention to the recurring charge to our checking account. When I noticed - this is years in the works, btw, our bad for not noticing sooner - I called Golden Leasing Inc. at 800-683-**** to inquire and cancel.
Got a run around, and was hung up TWICE, with no satisfaction, I have had to call my bank, put a stop payment, and probably will end up changing checking account numbers to make sure. Talk about ***!
