Berghaus Jacket recently purchased

Dear Go Outdoors Customer Service,

I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent purchase I made from your store. On June 18, 2024, I bought a Berghaus Jacket from you online. Unfortunately, the jacket did not meet the expectations and standards of quality that I have come to associate with both Go Outdoors and the Berghaus brand.

Yesterday, I wore the jacket out in the rain for a brief period of only 45 minutes. To my dismay, upon returning home and removing the jacket, I discovered that my shoulders and shirt underneath were wet. This indicates that the jacket failed to provide the necessary waterproof protection, which is one of the primary reasons for purchasing it.

I am very disappointed with this experience, as I had chosen Berghaus for its reputation for high-quality outdoor gear. As a loyal customer, I expect the products I purchase from Go Outdoors to perform as advertised, and in this case, the jacket has clearly fallen short.

I kindly request a resolution to this issue. I would appreciate it if you could offer a full refund or a replacement jacket that meets the expected waterproof standards. I am happy to provide the receipt and any other necessary information to facilitate this process.

Please let me know how I should proceed to return the faulty jacket and receive a satisfactory resolution. I look forward to your prompt response to this matter.

User's recommendation: They were excellent at taking back the faulty jacket and offering a refund or a like for like replacement, which was sorted within 15 minutes

User's recommendation: Do not buy from this company they don’t exchange or refund within the 28 day which they state they are a ridiculous company to deal with after spending £780 on a rent that was faulty they refused to even send to a third company to check tent over they put tent up in store and of course indoors this problem will not occur please save your money and go elsewhere

Unprofessional customer service

On Friday, the 28th of June, I went to Go Outdoors Poole to spend my Cycle to Work scheme voucher. However, I felt that an employee's attitude towards me was unprofessional and quite rude.

Furthermore, after selecting my bike, I was browsing bike accessories as I still had an outstanding £175 left to spend.

However, your employee had already processed the voucher without my consent, meaning the outstanding balance of £175 was lost. I am unhappy with the customer service I received and I would like a resolution to get the required safety accessories.

Bought riding boots but they are different sìzes

Rang the store explained the situation they accepted fault and told me to return the boots to the store to exchange them I'm very happy about the outcome as my granddaughter had worn them twice for riding the cannon the phone was very courteous and made me feel at ease with my problem 10 out of 10

I have a major problem with a pair of Merrel Erie boots I purchased from your Gloucester branch on 1st August 2023 for a transaction of £208.16 which included these boots for approximately £125 and I dont have receipt but these boots are not waterproof has stated and are letting in water which I dont expect for £125 and are less than a year old,approximately 8 months.

I do have bank statement to prove these were purchased on this date last year but will be easy to find using my membership number?Im looking to replace these boots for another different brand within your stores.

I await an early response please.

I ordered a jacket and when checking when it would arrive I couldnt get any information from the customer service team. I called again and they said that the Fort William store were meant to ship it but they didnt have one they then advised that the Berwick store was going to ship it I contacted the store and they advised that they didnt have one, It appears that when you order online you are taking pot luck as to if any stores actually have the item in stock?
