AI Highlights
  • - For months the account has been pending and they won't reply.
  • - Wal_Mart should return to Front Door; Go Deed is a scam harming reputations.

For months the account has been pending and I have reached out to them on several occasions and they refuse to reply. Wal_Mart should go back to Front Door because at least their customer service existed.

Go Deed is nothing more than a scam and it is harming the reputations of the companies they represent due to poor or non existent. customer service.

Preferred solution: Then to do the job Wal-Mart pays them to do.

User's recommendation: Run far and fast away from this scam.

STAY AWAY

AI Highlights
  • - Walmart Spark Good moved to Deed for nonprofits, causing weekly inactivity for our charity, slow or absent support, and blocked grants.
Updated by user Apr 09, 2024

Nothing has changed. The problem has continued and now DEED just ignores any emails I sent to them.

Original review Mar 25, 2024

Walmart Spark Good moved to deed for nonprofits. Big mistake.

For 3 months, our charity is changed to inactive for no reason about once a week. Customer Service is ZILCH! Can't talk to a real person. Email responses take weeks.

Meanwhile, you can't get grants from Walmart bc your account gets thrown into inactive status once a week. Walmart Spark says you have to contact Deed to set up grant payment status with NFG.

It took 2 1/2 months for us to receive a response telling us how to set up that account. Walmart, please fix this and get rid of Deed

Cons:
  • Terrible customer service

Preferred solution: Real Customer Service, a phone number to talk to an actual person and the entire system to work

User's recommendation: Stay FAR AWAY

Someone other than deed showed me how to use the site.

Original review Mar 19, 2024
I am a legal non profit and used to be able to apply for cybergrants via Walmart. About 5 months ago I got an email from "Deed" informing me that they (Deed) was merging with walmart's cybergrant programs.

I was suspicious so I called Walmart corporate to inquire as to the legitimacy of this so called merge. The person @ Corporate told me they never heard of Deed and that the email from Deed is a scam and directed me to forward the email to walmart's abuse dept. Now months later I find out the Deed did, in fact, take over the cybergrants and all other related depts of Spark and Front door. I registered on Deed's website and for hours thereafter attempted to find how and where I can apply for finacial grants to no avail.

You cannot call Deed & that fact itself is not good at all because any company that does not provide a phone number or email has something to hide, like slamming a door in the faces of anyone that may need question anything about them. More or less stonewalling people. I have since emailed walmart several times over a month and no replies were gotten.

Deed has an online feedback which I had sent a few messages through and no replies. All I wanted to know is why Walmart ended cybergrants and why Deed does not really provide the cybergrants either.
Pros:
  • Process was quick
  • When walmart did cybergrants
Cons:
  • Provides false info
  • Deed took over nothing exists anymore
  • Deed and walmart not responsive

User's recommendation: Don't waste your time with Deed thinking your non profit can get help help because they dont really help.
