Non reimbursement of monies spent to purchase a replacement dishwasher after we were specifically advise to replace the dishwasher

We had been waiting for the repair of our dishwasher since November 2021. Global Home Protectioin contacted an Appliance Repair Company to replace the UI Control Board on December 1, 2021.

The Appliance Company did not replace the dishwasher UI Control Board on their February 03, 2022, service call, but collected our $125 deductible.

Supposedly, the Appliance Repair Company did not want to be liable for pulling the dishwasher from under the counter, removing the dishwasher's door, and installing the UI control into the top of the dishwasher's door.

After, waiting on hold for (20) minutes, for every call, to leave (22) Voice Mails, we received a call from a Customer Service Rep on March 21, 2022; advising us he would look for an Appliance Contractor. Never happened.

On March 28th we were advised to totally replaced the dishwasher, and Global Home Protection would reimburse us $300. To date and an additional 19 calls, (without any answer), and 1 claim, to which none has been answered, no response.

Poor service

I contacted the company about a leak on a pool pump. They charge $75 deductible then say the contractor will call you within 8hrs.

Two days past & no call. Then after I call back & do three days of chasing the contractor direct they arrive. At no point will Global take responsibility for chasing the contractor! They then place the new pump on two bricks rather than cut the pipework.

I told them this was not acceptable & they threatened to take the old pump & new away leaving me nothing in the Florida heat so my pool would go green. So they leave it on the bricks. Three months later & the pump leaks due to vibration on the bricks. I call Global & they want to charge me another $75 deductible for the same problem!

I refuse & call the president J Douglas keys. Talking to him highlighted the key issue in the company. He does not care. He wants your annual fee, $75 deductible & takes no ownership of who does the work.

He just makes $75 every time they get it wrong.

Do not touch this company. They have a overall 2 star rating for a good reason, they are bad at what they do!
