Nothing I lost all my information on Global Discovery. I remember my username. Need to get on the website to schedule a trip in Orlando, Fl.
No overseas availabke but 1 wk Ireland.
Called several times n recording said they were closed during listed hours open. No overseas vacation available but Ireland.

The accommodations were very old and dilapidated. Out of two showers, one had a head that fell off while the other was held together with zip ties and automotive clamps, accompanied by a window in the shower that faced the neighbors.
The walls were dirty with plaster peeling and hair from past guests was everywhere. The furniture, which probably dated back to the 80s, was filthy. There were dirty handprints even on the ceiling. I've never been more disappointed in any accommodation I've ever been in, especially considering that we paid top dollar.
This experience has made me loathe Aruba and I never want to return.
Thanks Global Discovery Vacations, for the terrible way to spend our 20th anniversary. I'm extremely disappointed.

Rude representative
- - The GDV website is hard to figure out.

Yes I did contact the company. I talked to another representative when I asked to speak to a manager.
Not sure if this guy was a manager or not. He said he could help me understanding their website better but couldn’t help me with canceling my contract.
The guy we got (Robert Sell) was so condescending and rude we didn't even make it thru 5 min of the meeting before we had to terminate it! He started showing us his end of the webpage after he logged in. I told him that when I logged in and searched the same things he did my page wasnt the same. He then asked me for my member # so he could log in ad see what I was seeing.
I want prepared for this so I didnt have my member # right away I told him to give me a second and Id look Id up he proceeded to tell me he had it. Then he asked for a specific place Id like to travel to and I told him Cancun Mexico. He said there were many places in Cancun to visit this is when he started getting very upset with us and pretty much yelling at us and treating us like we were stupid. When we asked him not to be rude he ended the zoom.
I then went on the website logged in with my member ID and found that in shows NO PLACES IN CANCUN TO RENT!!! Seriously stay away from GLOBAL DISCOVERY VACATIONS!!

For at least the Virginia Beach, VA branch, this company uses foreign call centers to generate leads -- breaking USA law by violating National Do Not Call (DNC) list. Would never do business with them. Daily calls from foreign call centers using spoofed caller ID's working on behalf of this outfit.

Was not pleased with our condo
- - We couldn't find locations with global; the pier was under construction and we weren't informed; the condo had problems; we won't rebook.
We can never find the locations we want with global. This last booking we were looking forward to fishing only to find out the pier has been under construction.
No one informed us of this, so we could change our plans. We had many problems with the condo. We've been there before, but things are going down hill.
Furthermore, we won't be rebooking at that location again. Very unhappy customer.
