Horrible dining experience
On September 6, 2023 I went to Girl Diver for dinner. I ordered the spare ribs, boiled potatoes, and a drink.
The potatoes and drink were good but the ribs were too tough for me to eat. I bought it to the attention of the bartender ( I was sitting at the bar) and the host who was also at the bar. Instead of taking the ribs off my tab- they "gave" me 25% off. I did not agree with this "solution" because I didn't eat the ribs.
They also made some comments about how I was there before (which I was) and sat on the other side of the bar (which I did not do). The host then made the statement that I must be from the "west side". I still have no clue what that was supposed to mean.
Keep in mind, I only ate maybe one or two bites. I paid the bill and left.
I then turned around and went back. I asked why was I charged for food I did not eat. I wasn't talking about the entire bill being comped but for the ribs to be taken off the bill.
The host then became insulting. He said that I ordered the food and it was "picked over".
He then said that they don't comp for eaten food.
I was dumb founded. Never again.
