Giovanni & HealthySkin Sylk Free Sample Scam
After signing up for some free samples of sylk skin products online, I noticed a month later that the company had charged three transactions to my credit card at roughly 80 dollars each. Upon calling the company, I was informed I had signed up for a monthly supply - at 160 dollars a month - which I had not yet recieved.
Somehow I think I'd remember if I had checked off a box agreeing to such a thing. The worst part? Trying the get my money back from rude pushy saleswomen. It took two phonecalls just to get the account cancelled.
Tricky buggers. They actually told me to "just keep the products once you'll get them, you'll love it." I don't want your sales pitch, I want my money back!!
